Books: The Razor's Edge by Sommerset Maugham, Dark Places by Jon
Evans, The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, The End of
the Affair by Graham Greene, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, To
Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Pride and Prejudice by Jane
Austen. I recently finished Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell.
Films: Missing, Vertigo, Match Point, Good Night and Good Luck,
Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Bowling for Columbine, Before
Sunrise. Films that I have recently seen and really liked include
"No," "The Reluctant Fundamentalist," "Before Midnight," and "The
Music: Youssou N'dour, Michael Franti, Pat Metheny, Van Morrison,
REM, Wasi Diop, Delhi2Dublin, Ani Difranco, Joan Armatrading, Dave
Matthews, Neil Young, K'naan, Pat Metheny, Bob Marley, Joni
Mitchell, Bruce Cockburn, Afro Celt Sound System, Bon Iver, City
and Colour, Miles Davis, Bare Naked Ladies, Spirit of the West,
Keith Jarrett, Annie Lennox...Have tickets to see Habib Koite in a
couple of weeks.
TV: I usually watch via DVDs or the internet but these are some of
my past and current TV favourites, candy and all: The Newsroom,
West Wing, 22 Minutes, Rick Mercer Report, Survivor and House of
Food: Pacific North West, Thai, Indian are some favourites. While I
don't eat meat - and I take no issue with those who do - I do eat
dairy, fish and seafood.
