My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Mountaineering rocket geek with a taste for the unconventional. I'm not always the suavest, but I'm usually the first to point it out for a good laugh.
Quite frankly, I'm not a fan of long walks on the beach and candlelit dinners. I'd much rather go for a motorcycle ride to napa and sit through a lightning storm eating hummus in a tent.
There aren't many people that I dislike (except bad drivers), and I particularly admire people who can tell a good story.
Existence is so unfathomably huge and we are so ridiculously finite that there is no good reason why any of us should take ourselves so seriously.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Aerospace Engineer for a big corporate war monger, with free time spent doing anything that excites me usually involving a speed rush or getting dirty.

Honestly though, I'm just waiting for Nitro Circus to give me a job on the weekends, and Top Gear to accept my application as the new Stig.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
making my mother worry and myself laugh, usually simultaneously.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my striking resemblance to the original Superman (minus the red tights)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Authors: Rilke, Loren Eisley, Howard Zinn, Allan Watts, Frank Herbert, & my dad.

Music: Pretty much anything but whiny country music. Atmosphere, Pendulum, Flux Pavilion, Amos Lee, Ray Lamontagne, Gavin Degraw, Andy Hunter, Jay-Z, Radiohead, Ghinzu...just put the tunes on, they're all good.

Shows: Nitro Circus, Family Guy, How I Met Your Mother, New Girl, Top Gear, COSMOS...and the Bachelor Pad if the company I'm forced to watch it with is cute enough.

Food: Mexican and corn dogs. Mmmmmm
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
The smell of rain, good tunes, thumbs, AWD, patience, and head scratches.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
badass inventions I'll never make, and interesting people I'll never meet. And how is it that "reality television" is so unrealistic?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Giggling with anticipation for Saturday. Probably staying up later than I should, considering Saturdays tend to start with early mornings in the mountains doing something that likely requires the use of a helmet.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I had a rat tail until 8th grade...yeah, I had a lot of friends. In space camp.

You're fun enough to spend more than five minutes with and you don't take yourself so seriously that my off handed comment about your weird shirt won't make you cry when no one is looking. And preferably you don't drive like you have a phobia of asphalt and cars.
I'm legitimately looking for some decent people to hang out with. BBQs, snowboarding, camping, beerfests, and motorcycle rides are all made better with good company.

You have nothing better to do. That's good enough too, we'll manage with whatever you're working with.
