So I took some test recommended to me on my English skills and
scored very highly on it. ;) Anyways, I got a link to actually sign
up for the site so that's why I am here. I didn't know it worked as
a networking site or whatever, but that's cool with me. I am always
interested in hearing from people.
I graduated college with a degree specific to
broadcasting/journalism, and I have my hand in lots of stuff
relating to that. I work in
radio as a program director/on-air for "my
main job that pays the bills" but I also do VJ work and production
for a growing national music video show. I do a little film
production as an assistant and even acting (kinda!) from
time-to-time as well, so I stay pretty busy within the industry,
but of course I manage to have time to unwind and have fun, too.
I'm really good at being humble, so I won't answer the question
about what I'm good at. :) Nah, I guess I am good at helping
people, I am a great listener and always do what I can for
someone... I guess I am a kind old soul. Haha. I also have a really
good sense of humor and it's something that's important in my life,
to always keep a bright side no matter how dark life can get
sometimes. I also am into sports, and am pretty good at playing
them, and definitely good at watching them, haha. I am into the
Reds,
Bengals, and
UK college basketball and
football the most. I'm also actively into mixed martial arts i.e.
UFC/PRIDE FC (specifically Brazilian jiujitsu and kickboxing).
Physically, my eyes; beyond that, my sense of humor generally.
Favorite books: Nothing specific, but I like comedic works, usually
books by favorite comedians for instance, and on the more serious
side, I am a fan of biographies/autobiographies. I guess I am
interested in certain people, but not just anyone "famous". My
favorite more in the realm of literary classic is To Kill A
Mockingbird. I told myself I would try to read Tolstoy sometime,
too. Try.
Favorite movies: Again, I don't have many specific ones that stick
out, I am pretty open-minded about movies but I mainly like
comedy and
thought-provoking drama, though they are sometimes polar opposites.
For instance, some of my very favorites range from Dumb And Dumber,
the Austin Powers series and Anchorman to City Of God, Road To
Perdition and Sling Blade.
Favorite music: I love
music in general! I guess I am exposed to
a lot of it working as I do, but I was like that even before
getting into college and all that. I listen to nearly everything,
but my main interests are classic
country, classic rock, oldies, soul and
hard
rock/punk rock.
That alone is a ridiculous mix, but then factor in the fact I like
some rap, R&B, some of the newer country, bluegrass, and
classical and it gets silly. My all-time favorite individual
artists include Elvis, The Beatles, Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Ray
Charles, Guns N Roses, and more contemporarily, I like Green Day,
Queens Of The Stone Age, Eminem, Nas, Beastie Boys, etc. WAAAAY too
many to name.
Favorite foods: Finally a simple one that won't be a mile long. I
like Mexican, Italian and good ol' American food the most,
including
southern cooking. It's what I grew up
on!
The health and well-being of family, friends and others I care
about, my own future, things like that. Yeah, I'm a sap.
Working, but that's probably not what you wanted to know. For the
more interesting answer, after I am done working, I generally
either just chill at home if I want to unwind, and watch baseball
or the sport of that particular season. :) Friday nights are a
night I sometimes use to catch up running and working out if I miss
a day earlier in the week for any reason. Sometimes I do training
on Friday nights. And I am not a big party guy, but I do like going
out with friends and just spending time wherever we go, we can make
it fun. I probably do more on Saturday than Friday, but either's
cool with me.
Unlike most guys, I will admit that I don't want to be single until
my 40s or anything like that, and wouldn't at all mind, provided I
find the right person, settling down with a wife and
family in the next few
years.
I seem interesting to you and you wanna talk! Seriously, I know it
sounds so simple, but I like communicating (probably one of the
longest profiles written on here ;) and enjoy talking with people
in general.
