Hi, I'm Tim.

I'm a fairly recent transplant from Hawaii, having given up endless sunshine and warm weather for the darkness, constant drizzle, endless traffic and some of the most amazing views. Yay for vitamin D!

I like silliness, sometimes the ridiculous. Humor is important to me and I love to smile and laugh, especially if it's dark or witty.

For fun, and often because it was a long hard day, I like to hang out and watch old movies on Netflix, or curl up with a book and queue up some Billie Holiday or Louis Armstrong in the background. I'm out a lot during the week at social gatherings or parties, other get togethers with friends, but I always enjoy quiet time at home doing normal things, too.

I love wearing my kilt and boots when I'm heading out for the evening, and leathers when it gets cold.

Before we get too far, I should note that I'm kinky. I'm an active member of the Center for Sex Positive Culture in Seattle, and am also involved with Seattle Men in Leather. I've been fairly regular at attending functions and parties from Olympia to Everett. Open, honest sexuality and exploration is very important to me. If you're not sure what it means, ask.

I have a very responsible job that I truly enjoy. I troubleshoot and maintain electronic systems mainly for financial institutions.

I've been told my eyes, my presence, but especially my voice... I grew up in The Bronx and my accent pops when I'm nervous or excited. An Irish family upbringing gave me lilt that mixes interestingly, as I have no control over it (especially when I run across Canadians, Aussies, Brittoners, and of course the Irish).

Dr who, Torchwood... when new eps of either/both. Too bad BSG ended. Family Guy, SouthPark when I can. I really don't have a lot of time for television.

I've read a veritable ton of boy-book political/action/drama/thriller books by a long list of authors. Lately, it's more technical manuals but I also have a growing library on sex positive titles and others that deal with creative sexuality.

Movies, I love everything from Mel Brooks; Clerks, Pulp Fiction, 12 Monkeys, Boondock Saints, The Princess Bride, LOTR, Secretary, A Clockwork Orange, The Big Lebowski, Office Space, Short Bus, Woody Allen (better in the 70's-80's), Natural Born Killers, How to train your dragon, Shaun of the Dead, the Fifth Elment, Serenity, Starwars (older vs newer), Monty Python, Metropolis, most anything playing on AMC or TCM, Documentaries.

Perhaps strange, big bad kinkster and all, I don't watch a lot of porn. It kind of bores me (I used to write porn reviews professionally, it got old fast).

I range from the Dubliners, Flogging Mollies, Dropkick Murphys, to Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Emma Shapplin, Pavarotti, Bach and Tchaikovsky. Blues, Jazz, Electro-Swing, Radiohead, U2, Jack Johnson, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, The Beastie Boys, ACDC, and sometimes, even bluegrass.

I love Mediterrenean, Indian food, allergic to mushrooms (yeah, I suck), veggy and vegan.. striking flavors. Mmm, tofu and roasted vegetables. But I can't give up bacon and eggs. I try to make healthier food choices but my often nonstop schedule during the day makes that really hard.

Lately, PapaJohns has me on their speed dial and they're always showing up at my house :)

I spend a lot of time contemplating what I believe, what I want, what I will or won't do, and how I feel about just about everything. I love to regularly challenge my own pre-conceived ideas as I find my feelings about so many things have changed over time...and I am sure they will continue to evolve. In my 20s I was too uptight and shy to ever consider the way I'm now living my life in such a sexually explorative way. I'm so glad that I decided to take some chances and stopped letting fear get in my way.

Fridays, I like to deflate from a hectic week. Quiet time in front of the fireplace, a steaming cup of hot chocolate. And then I put on my leathers, my kilt and boots, and venture out with a smile.
