My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
7/16 I'm a little saturated at the moment. Sometimes life is interesting. If we've spoken before or you're into what I'm into, definitely say hi. If not, I may respond.

I prefer to engage with open minded people who aren't afraid to try something different, something that may have only existed in their dreams. I used to fantasize a lot. I was married and she didn't share my interests. When she took off with her coworker, I stopped fantasizing, I started a new life. And I haven't looked back.

I'm still very much who I was. A gentleman. Caring, kind, compassionate, respectful. I go out of my way to help people I care about. And some I don't. I have some loyalty issues. When someone earns my loyalty, it's for life if they don't abuse it... It really fucks my world when they do abuse it.

Newly single a few years ago, looking for something more, a sense of where I belonged, I found leather, in the leather and fetish communities in Honolulu and became a big part of that scene during my time there.

I moved to the Seattle area in May '12 and quickly got involved with the leather and kink communities here.

What is leather? Leather is a code of ethics that promotes honor, integrity, tradition and respect. It's about accepting and celebrating who we are with pride. Bonding with and accepting others for their identities, orientations and choices. It's about looking out for one another. It's about community. It's about spirituality. And yes, it's about kink and really fucking great violent sex.

In leather, I'm a rope top. I lay beautiful rope in wraps and knots upon flesh and paint a beautiful scene. I practice the arts of Shibari and Kinbaku, creating stunning works that serve a purpose beyond art, and beyond sex. I perform rope suspensions, wrapping a girl (or boy) up and hoist them aloft, several feet off the ground to swing around and even fly. I play with and harness reiki energies in rope scenes and thrive on the energies that we create together. Rope connects us.

Rope is my art and my foreplay. It's my path to spiritual enlightenment. My path to happiness. And I'd like to share it with you.

I love a few other things including thuddy floggers, and a range of sensation play. I am Dominant in my relationships and enjoy being served by a good girl who wants to earn my appreciation and kindness.

Come do something beautiful with me. Come feel alive. Come to the dark side. We have cookies.

I am STD free and always practice safer sex. But it isn't really about sex.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm really good at dreaming up creative ways to have more fun in my life. I have a job that challenges my intellect and though processes, and I quite enjoy it.

I started a diet a couple of weeks ago. I quit smoking 8 months ago and put on some baby weight. To be fair, I had some baby weight before I quit smoking. I'm trying to live healthier so I can have a better quality of life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Being honest.
Building kickass pillow forts.
Being left handed.
Spotting bullshit a mile away.
Being the most interesting person you'll meet this month..
Laughing at bad jokes, and telling worse ones.
Talking forever over coffee.
Getting you to read this far down the page.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Going past my eyes, my very presence, more often it's my voice that grabs someone. I get accused of trying to sound like Marlon Brando, but it's just how I sound.

Mix in the fact that I grew up in The Bronx and my accent pops when I'm tired or excited. An Irish family upbringing gave me lilt that mixes interestingly. Depending on the situation or my mood, I go from Brando to Danny Aiello to the guy on the lucky charms commercials.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Orange is the New Black, Game of Thrones, Dr Who, Lillyhammer, Firefly, Dollhouse. Too bad BSG ended. Family Guy, SouthPark when I can. I really don't have a lot of time for television.

I've read a veritable ton of boy-book political/action/drama/thriller books by a long list of authors. Lately, it's more technical manuals but I also have a growing library on sex positive titles and others that deal with creative sexuality.

Movies, I love everything from Mel Brooks; Clerks, Pulp Fiction, 12 Monkeys, Boondock Saints, The Princess Bride, LOTR, Secretary, A Clockwork Orange, The Big Lebowski, Office Space, Short Bus, Woody Allen (better in the 70's-80's), Natural Born Killers, How to train your dragon, Shaun of the Dead, the Fifth Elment, Serenity, Starwars (older vs newer), American Beauty, Monty Python, Metropolis, most anything playing on AMC or TCM, Documentaries.

Perhaps strange, big bad kinkster and all, I don't watch a lot of porn. It kind of bores me (I used to write porn reviews professionally, it got old fast).

I range from the Dubliners, Flogging Mollies, Dropkick Murphys, to Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Emma Shapplin, Pavarotti, Bach and Tchaikovsky. Blues, Jazz, Electro-Swing, Radiohead, U2, Jack Johnson, Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, The Beastie Boys, ACDC, and sometimes, even bluegrass.

Food wise, well... I was on an almost all carb diet for a while and that hasn't quite worked out as I thought it would. There'll be no best selling diet books in my future. Unless I buy them. I've sworn off junk foods, sodas, pastas and starch. I still love to eat but I'd rather cook something healthy and delicious.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A good book
Good coffee in the morning
A good girl to share it with
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time contemplating what I believe, what I want, what I will or won't do, and how I feel about just about everything. I love to regularly challenge my own pre-conceived ideas as I find my feelings about so many things have changed over time...and I am sure they will continue to evolve. In my 20s I was too uptight and shy to ever consider the way I'm now living my life in such a sexually explorative way. I'm so glad that I decided to take some chances and stopped letting fear get in my way.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Typical? I had to google it. I don't do typical. What I do do (no pun there) is amazing. Inventive. Diabolical, even.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My favorite color is purple and I can really appreciate a good camel toe. I was a young republican in my misspent youth but have grown to see the light.

You haven't run away yet to hide in your pillow fort.

You're geeky, can write complete sentences with proper punctuation, like to watch anime (including family guy), open to foreign films on occasion.

You're open to being poly or love being tied and/or flogged.

You like spend a significant amount of time smiling at dumb things, and own at least one item with Hello Kitty on it.
