This is a tough one, after spending a day thinking about what I would say about myself and what "spin" if any I would put on it, I have decided to just be candid, because I know you would appreciate that. So here it is: I am focused, thoughtful, romantic, understanding, loyal, smart monogamous, appreciative, affectionate, spontaneous, and love to learn and try new things. I have a sense of style, I am sensitive and sensual, definitely like to see the person I am with happy. I really hate drama.
A few things that are important to me: music, all types;also to never go to bed mad, I believe in resolving issues rather than letting them fester; and travel, worldwide. I am in control of my life, I don't need or want control of you or yours. I believe in a meeting of the minds, a balance, an exchange, a shared sense of companionship and desire.
I was raised by my dad, who is the best man I know, and as a result, I have been told that I am "like one of the guys in a hot, sexy way", it may be true, I love sports especially football. I like to drive and am quite good at it, like fishing; I am casual but like to be girly too. I love museums, galleries, aquariums and other voyeuristic/observational activities. I love to explore new places, I enjoy an afternoon at the farmer's market (buy locally), so I hope you are up for just about anything.
I am, at this point in my life, finally going back to school, it seems that I appreciate it much more since I am "grown up", turns out I am good at it too!
I value honesty and the truth, even if it is harsh. The guy I would love to find would be self confident (not arrogant), polite, honest, thoughtful, optimist, a man's man so to speak, have a great sense of humor, (I love to laugh).
ENDNOTE: I will add more as I think of it, for now this is a start.

I am pretty busy these days..I have decided to go back to school and change my career, I have been working in the alternative health industry for the last 9 years.

Picking football games, I give a great massage, I am good at listening, and carrying on an intelligent conversation, making you laugh or at least smile. Really good at travel planning and organization, picking out good wine, and being accommodating, keeping my priorities in order. Remembering the little things.

Depends on if it is a man or woman.

I do get a alot of comments on my hair, my smile and my style.

As promised, (so you can know a bit more about me)..I must say, I love to have a DVR for taping whatever I want to watch, usually movies, but some shows, my DVR is my guilty pleasure. When it comes to movies, I love period pieces, and am looking forward to the new Musketeers movie. Here is a short list of movies that impacted my life, Pay it Forward, Book of Eli, 127 Hours, Fast Food Nation (although the book was much better), The Secret, (again the book was better). Dare I confess other movies that I feel are guilty pleasures, yes, the Twilight Saga, all movies featuring the mythical creatures known as Vampires. (been intrigued since I was a kid in myth). I love comedies, Red, Horrible Bosses, Bad Teacher, the Hangover and dare I say Borat? Lol...ok, it was funny in a weird way, did you know those people did not know Borat was not a real person, that in itself is funny.
As to books, I am currently reading from the essential thinkers collection: Confucius & Lao Tzu, anything by Kahlil Gibron, Rumi, all Robert Louis Stevenson's works, any John Grisham, and I sometimes go back and re-read Steven Covey's different works, but really 7 Habits of Highly Effective people works for motivating and reminding me if I get off track, Art of War, and those literary selections are in between my required textbook readings. So I read for fun when I have time, or when I need inspiration. Someday, I intend to write my own book.

Shows: True Blood, Dexter, Weeds, Boardwalk Empire, Terra Nova, House, it's seasonal you know, depends... that's what my DVR is for.

As to food, well I am a foodie, love the epicurean experience...
I am Irish, so spices are good, but hot spices, not so much. I am open to everything, I have yet to do the sushi thing, raw fish kinda freaks me out a bit, lol. My favorite romantic dinner has to be fondue, ever tried it? Love Asian food, Mexican food, Italian food (although it can be a bit heavy), I prefer more of a European style of dining, fruit, cheese, veggies, fresh breads, great wine, you get the idea...

Music, my family, my comfy bed, my computer, fresh coffee, good food,my passport, and my Bengal.

My next move, and where the right guy is...and why am I always trying to save the world. And how can we be rated as enemies when we never even met...

Could be anything, depends on the week, the season or my mood...out with friends dining and drinking, at home with a few movies snuggled up with my kitties, doing homework that I blew off during the week, out singing Kareoke, or even exploring the city or the wine country (Used to live in downtown Sonoma).

I like older guys, because they are usually more experienced at life, and they know what they want, and how to appreciate a woman.
