My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Intelligent, quiet, reserved guy. I generally don't talk much unless we find a shared interest, then it may be hard to get me to shut up. I love to play games of all kinds, especially the kinds that are great with a group of friends (nerdy board games and the like).

I'm not very sociable in general, I have a few very close friends but I don't go out socializing regularly.

Since so many people post their Myers Briggs score here, mine is usually INTJ. However I prefer the more scientifically credible 'Big Five'. Here are my results on that:
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a software developer, which I adore. I love making things work and when I was introduced to programming I took to it like a fish to water. I'm really focusing on continuously bettering myself as a programmer and working on how I can succeed in my career.

I studied Astrophysics in University but over time I became demotivated and dissatisfied with the idea of a life of research. At the same time I was much more interested in software, hence my current career path.

I'm in a polyamorous relationship with an incredible German girl I never would have found without OkCupid.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Solving problems, programming, strategy games, learning, introspection.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The Stetson if I'm outside, or my long hair. They get the most comments at least. Maybe my height also but people don't comment on that.

These days, pop science and psychology books along the lines of The Selfish Gene. I was an absolute book worm when I was young, I would be constantly reading kids novels, fantasy novels as well as lots of science, these days I spend more time reading heavy technical and scientific books, and more than that just general interest on the internet.

Currently reading "Quiet" by Susan Cain (it's about introversion), "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Stephen R Covey and "The Extended Phenotype" by Richard Dawkins.

TV shows, who could list everything they liked but here are a few.. Firefly, Father Ted, Samurai Jack, Ghost in the Shell: SAC, The Simpsons before season 9, Futurama (especially a small number of episodes that really stand out) etc. I don't watch TV very often though, I only recently bought a TV (to attach my games consoles to) after not having one for I don't know how many years.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Android, my family's dog, my laptop, internet, my hat and oxygen.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Science, politics, programming issues/problems/design, games/games design, sex, women, philosophy, attitude to life, psychology.. I could go on and on really. I'm very introverted and constantly thinking about all sorts.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home on the internet, most likely. Or playing games with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I suspect I may have ADHD-PI and am on a waiting list to see a psychiatrist about it.

It's a bit of a double-edged sword, it's why when I become interested in something I obsessively read/learn about it and ignore everything else in my life, but it can be problematic for obvious reasons.

I also believe I have schizoid personality disorder but I don't see it as a problem, it's a personality type rather than a disorder as far as I'm concerned.
