I am awesome, rock, and roll.

My Self-Summary

I know it's probably the most clichéd phrase on the internet, but it really is hard to describe myself. I like to think I'm a nice guy, i seem to have a lot of friends so i must be; either that or I'm good to Laugh at!

Things I like that aren't mentioned in the sections yonder:

Linux Ubuntu - Computer operating system completely different to Microsoft Windows.

American Football: No, it's not 'rugby for girls'. In fact, it's a completely different game to rugby. I support the San Francisco 49ers. I have no idea why i chose them as a team to follow.

Baseball: One of my main passions. I love playing and watching. My team is The Atlanta Braves. Again, I have no idea why.

Video Games: My favourite series of games of all time is the Monkey Island Series by Lucasarts/Telltale games. Pure genius. A lot of people find the point an click nature boring but It's all about the mystery.

Cars: Quite bizarrely, as much as I love Cars, i am not able to drive yet. I really want to lean to drive as soon as i start earning money again. My dream car is a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss.

The Spanish Language: I absolutely adore the Spanish Language. I studied it for four years in high school but i have now forgotten the majority of it. I would love to learn to speak it fluently.

America - I would like to live there someday. Preferably either Miami, San Francisco or Seattle.

The sections below are mainly about likes so maybe i should put my dislikes in this box:

Text speak/1337 - Whatever. If you can't be bothered to use the English language as it was meant to be used, please leave me alone. I don't expect to have to crack the Da-Vinci code whenever i talk to you.

Spiders - Vile creatures. Why keep one as a pet? It truly baffles me.

People who get emotionally attached to Soap Operas - Enough said. Don't cry when Fatty Patterson dies of a heart attack, he'll be back in his new form next week.

People who take drugs/need to drink to have fun - I like going out drinking as much as the next man, but you don't have to drink/take drugs in order to have a good time! There are many other things you can do in this world that don't involve intoxicating yourself.

People who refer to their sports team as 'we': YOU ARE NOT IN THE TEAM.

I dislike a lot of things but I'll leave it at that, for now.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently looking for a job. Yes; I'm unemployed, living with my parents and Claiming money from the government. Do you really think i want to be unemployed?

In the past I've worked for Royal Mail, A garden centre, two hotels, a university and The Bank Of New York Mellon.

I really enjoyed working in the hotel industry because i like hard work. One day I would like to become a hotel manager, then once I've raised some money I would like to open a Medieval style pub.

I’m really good at

What am i good at? Being a geek. Tapping codes into a black and white screen in order to get Microsoft Windows programs to work on an alternate open source operating system called Linux Ubuntu. Sounds thrilling, right?

I'm also good at wasting a shed load of time on the good old internet. I like reading about interesting things. Borrowed wisdom.

I'm good at recommending music to people. Everyday people talk to me asking me to recommend them bands from every genre of music, everyday these people leave me feeling happy with my choices.

The first things people usually notice about me

Usually that i wear glasses; quite hard to miss, right?

And probably my long luscious locks.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books -

The Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay is incredible; If you're not familiar with the t.v show and/or the books i suggest you get either one. They're about a Blood Splatter Analyst who works for the FBI who leads a double life as a serial killer killing untouchable criminals. If you've seen the television show but not read the books, i highly recommend them. They will not spoil it for you.

I've just finished reading Contract By Simon Spurrier, it's about a contract killer whose hits are coming back to life. Awesome stuff.

I also like books that will make me laugh, particularly ones where the author actually writes real letters to companies giving them an Idea/Complaining about strange things to do with their product. Notable authors are Robin Cooper and Terry Ravenscroft.

Robin Cooper also writes another book that i highly recommend, it's called The Timewaster Diaries. It follows on from where his second timewaster letters book ends and he decides to write a diary of his life. Hilarity ensues!

I also like reading a lot of non-fiction crime.

My favourite movie of all time is Pulp Fiction. Such an incredible movie. Everything you want is there. A Great storyline, Action, Great acting and Awesome Dialogue.

Movies i've seen lately: Public Enemies, Adventureland, Sex Drive, Antichrist, Role Models and The Hangover.

Music - I'll try to keep it Limited!

Metal: Iron Maiden, Candlemass, Metallica, AC/DC, Clutch, Motorhead, Sonata Arctica, Hammerfall, Avantasia, Scorpions, Chinchilla, Slipknot, Cannibal Corpse, Cattle Decapitation, Steel Panther, Black Sabbath...

Hip-Hop/Grime: Public Enemy, Ugly Duckling, Sage Francis, Foreign Beggars, Atmosphere, Dizzee Rascal, Gracious K...

Dance/Dubstep/Techno/Drum 'n' Bass: Infected Mushroom, Skream, Benga, Burial, Boxcutter, Venetian Snares, Black Sun Empire...

Old School Rock: The Clash, Slade, The Who, Duran Duran, Warrant, Journey...

I'm also into a lot of classical and folk music, if you want an awesome Neo-Medieval Folk recommendation check out CORVUS CORAX, their entire discography is on Spotify. I saw them at Wacken open air festival in 2008 and they made my draw drop. Literally.

Cuisine:
I'm a human dustbin. I like all kinds of food. I like to cook, and i like to eat food that has been cooked for me. Except fast food.
My favourite food has to be Chinese. Absolutely incredible stuff, so much variation.

My favourite restaurant is Captain America's Hamburger Heaven in Norwich, big, tasty American style burgers. I will take you there.

One of my dreams is to eat at Heston Blumenthal's 3-michelin starred restaurant The Fat Duck, it would be the most incredible culinary experience ever.

Beverages:
I drink a lot of water and fruit juice, i need to. Pineapple juice is my favourite.

I am really into fine wines, particularly Red Wine. My favourite variety of grape is Tempranillo.

I am a connoisseur of beer: I don't drink any old rubbish. I stay well away from Fosters, Carling and the like. I would much rather drink an ale, my favourite being Hobgoblin. If i have a lager, it'll usually be German or Japanese.

I type too much.

The six things I could never do without

Music.
Linux Ubuntu.
The Internet.
Television.
Someone to care for.
Someone to care for me.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

life.

On a typical Friday night I am

I never know until that day comes. Impulse.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm a loner.

You should message me if

You like what you see above and would like to know more about my exciting life.
