My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So where to start? Never been good at writing these things. I'll most likely be editing this until the the eventual heat death of the universe. Honestly, I have little hope anything will come from this endeavor. Who knows... perhaps something will come from all this, even if it's just a new friend.

“Imperfection is underrated. Perfection is overrated.”
-Helena Bonham Carter

I'm an artistically inclined, open minded, guy who started seeking a degree long after most of my peers finished their degrees. We all move at our own pace I suppose. Like to think that I'm a genuine, honest, caring, and empathetic person. Left winged, liberal minded, queer friendly.

I prefer to spend my free time with friends. Whether it's walking through the city with a camera or unwinding with some competitive gaming. Never been one to party or hang out in a bar, just not my thing I guess. That said... I do enjoy a good drag show from time to time. Always preferred small gatherings with close friends then large parties with a bunch of people I hardly know. If you enjoy a good game of Cards Against Humanity with drinks and friends I'm sure we'll get along well.

Photography has become my passion, and I couldn't think of a better thing to love even if I tried. I've recently changed my focus from painting to photography. Really wishing I discovered my love for lenses and focal planes years ago. Right now I primarily shoot with a Canon AE-1. That's right, I shoot 35mm film. Black and white film to be exact. There's something to be said for the how the lack of color can being so much emotion into a piece. On top of that I just love the mechanical nature of older SLR cameras. It has everything you need to take great shoots and nothing you don't.
Here's my website if your interested. Please keep in mind that I'm still putting it together.

---Other semi random things about me---
-I've nearly died 3 times in my life. Twice from a milkshake.
-Hate the terms "laid back" and "easygoing". They are far too overused nowadays.
-Love all forms music but have no talent for it myself.
-Refuse to use boxed pancake mix.
-I'm INFJ if that means anything to you. I don't get too much into it myself.
-"Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" and "This American Life" are the greatest things on earth.
-NPR contributor... when I can.
-Enjoy discussing gender identity, gender binary and gender patriarchy systems.
-Have a fondness for anyone outside the binary.
-Practically live at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Walker Sculpture Garden.
-Own a kindle but still prefer buying the hardcover when I can.
-Spend far to much time in the darkroom.
-Friendzone seems to emply that being a good friend is a bad thing and that's kinda messed up.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Taking life by the horns and forcing it into submission.

Just taking it one day at a time as I work toward my degree. Preparing to apply to MCAD, Chicago Institute of Art, and Cleveland Institute of Art. Really hoping to get into MCAD and stay in Minneapolis, but I still have a good deal of time to think about it.

Preparing for what can only be described as a massive undertaking of a photography project. Really looking forward to it. Probably will be pulling my hair out in 2 months.

I'm also the painting/drawing tutor for the art department as well as a a TA for the intro photography classes and a dark room attendant.

I describe myself as Pansexual. For me, gender isn't a factor when choosing a partner or what have you. What I'm attracted to most is someones personality not what then have in their pants. That's not to say I'm not attracted to people physically, I am. It just varies greatly from person to person.
