My self-summary
I think of myself as an introvert. I have a hard time convincing many other people of that though. I guess because I'm not shy (the occasional bouts of solo office dance parties probably damage my case too).

I spend a lot of time dreaming up crazy trips I'd like to go on. Some are huge, like my all surface trip around the world; while others are smaller, a road trip to the Creation Museum in Kentucky (Jesus riding a frickin' dinosaur? C'mon!).
What I’m doing with my life
My average day starts with me leaping out of my bed (my comforter is far to comfortable to risk anything else) and heading off to get in my daily crossfit fix.

After that I get to work for the Maple Leafs setting up their digital archive department. It's, by far, the best job I've had, and way cooler than I had any right to expect after doing a library masters.

From there any number of things could happen.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love diving into a great nerdy novel. Justin Cronin's The Passage and The Twelve are an amazing take on the vampire story. George R R Martin's series (Game of Thrones) is so deeply imagined it's like reading the history of a real world, only with none of the boring stuff. No one can top Neal Stephenson though, anyone who can weave a story about Enlightenment scientific thought into a swashbuckler is tops in my book.

I love the rich scent of the kitchen when I've got a really good chilli cooking after going outside for a while. Sitting down with a fresh popped bucket of pop-corn with M&Ms mixed in is the ultimate indulgence (butter coated candy with molten chocolate inside? kaboom!).
The six things I could never do without
1. A warm tasty meal (warm is optional)
2. A warm toasty bed (unless it's Summer)
3. Summer holiday at the family cottage
4. Copious quantities of reading material and television shows
6. Attention to detail
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Skiing. Ideally in powder so deep I'm a little concerned about drowning...

Also, work. Which isn't as bad as it sounds, I really like what I do.
On a typical Friday night I am
This particular Friday night I'm adding details to my dating profile... Perhaps I should do something cooler.

You should message me if
The type of lady I find attractive tends to be boisterous and silly but able to pull it together when she must. She loves being physically active, beyond the elliptical machine at the gym. Most important, she can keep up if the conversation moves past the latest celebrity scandal (not that there's anything wrong with that;). If this sounds like you, send me a message and we can chat some more.
