I was born in Boston, grew up in Pittsburgh, went to college in Indiana, and started my current business in Ohio, and expanded to Indianapolis.

To keep my summary concise, I'll say that I'm the posterchild ESTp; in fact, the descriptions for this type are eerily accurate. Apparently, this puts me in the same company as FDR and Hemingway, but also as Al Capone and L. Ron Hubbard. Turns out that if you're interested in becoming an iconic figure in Americana, organized crime, or starting a cult, I'm your guy.

I live my life with the mantra of, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." If this describes you too, message me right now before continuing on, because we'll get along spectacularly.

The 9-5 is not for me, so much so that I haven't held a traditional job since graduating in 2009. I worked as a freelance travel photographer until last year when I started my current company. I spend my time running that now, and I'm excited to be expanding (and moving) into the Dallas market very soon.

Traveling is still a major passion of mine. I've had to cut back on the time I spend overseas because of my business, but I still take at least one international trip a year; I'm happiest when I'm backpacking around a new country. I'm always eager to add to my list of 28 countries visited, and hope to visit all 190ish before I'm 40.

• Traveling: If anyone could a professional traveler, I would be that person. I don't think there's a travel problem out there I haven't had to deal with.

• Cooking: I've been in the kitchen since I was old enough to stand, and I've watched every episode of Good Eats like 5 times.

• Jeopardy!: On a good day I'll go ~40/51 unless a category is 17th Century Icelandic Authors or something equally esoteric. If you know anything about things like this I'd be happy to learn.

• Scrabble: Aa? Ka? Ti? Za? I'll play them. One time I played diuretic for a bingo, and I'm still trying to top that.

• World Record Holding: I once held the world record for youngest person alive, but it was taken from me by some no-name who no one had ever met before.

The first thing is always that I'm not really a dinosaur. The second thing is usually my smile (thanks, braces), but it depends on how well you tell a joke. After we start talking, it's probably how we're laughing, because of my razor wit and sardonic humor.

Music
This is one thing that I am not picky about. I love all kinds of music, but I cannot stand any manufactured, pop nonsense. I think Amy Winehouse's Back To Black is one of the best records in the last 10 years. This isn't representative of my music tastes as a whole; I just thought that it's worth saying.

Food
One of the main reasons I travel is for the food. I've been fortunate enough to experience many different cuisines firsthand, and it's impossible to pick some over others. I've never been to a country where I couldn't find at least two or three excellent dishes. I guess you could say that, as long as it's tasty and authentic, I'll eat it and I'll love it.

• Wanderlust: Without the compulsion to explore, what's the point of living on such an astonishing planet?
