Aside from whiskers on kittens and bright copper kettles, I enjoy being outside. I love throwing my canoe on top of my car and packing my tent and sleeping bag and going out to explore some of these provincial parks around southern Ontario. I can't wait to be done with school so I can go see the rest of this fine country.
Since I'm on the topic of hobbies I'm just learning how to snowboard. Last weekend I fell so many times that if I weren't so brown I'd be black and blue all over. So any pointers would be welcomed.
Biking is also something that occupies a lot of my time. Often I make the mistake of going on a long bike ride and forgetting that I also have to ride back home. Needless to say my legs feel like jelly when I walk in the front door.
Another thing I get my kicks from, is photography. as a kid I remember making movies with my sisters and cousins (which are horribly embarrassing to watch now). Now it's evolved to nature stuff with my camera.
Growing up in Caledon, ON has turned me into quite the country type. Moving to Orangeville, then here to Lindsay, hasn't helped much and it's as much of a city as I`m used to and can deal with. Driving in the city is probably one of the worst things I can imagine (close second is finding the carton of soy milk empty).
