I'm a lover of life and I live each day to experience it in abundance. My deepest intentions for my life are about connecting with others and seeing where we overlap. I value honesty and integrity and embrace those values with a fierce love.

What am I looking for?

A companion, a partner, someone to do all the fun couple-ey things with - and if it makes sense to us, then I am also open to more.

Also, right now I'm taking some time to pursue my goal of becoming a screenwriter, and while that is not what brought me to okcupid, it is what's keeping me here.

I am seeking other writer-types who would be interested in meeting occasionally or regularly (either one on one or in a small group setting), to share ideas, offer insights/feedback and be mutual sounding boards for one another's work. I don't think this should be limited to the genre or writing medium. Certainly I'm not concerned about whether you intend to write professionally, or if it's simply a hobby.

It's not that I don't have 'ideas', in fact, I usually have them in abundance. I just value feedback and connecting creatively to help keep my monkey mind focused, and figured there must be others out there who have similar goals.

For the next few months of the forseeable future, I get paid to work with and empower teenagers, and I also serve tables (singing lots of happy birthday songs).
I love to climb and I am a volunteer belayer at the local climbing gym.
I sing in choirs for fun. I just finished singing in an amazing gospel choir which opened my eyes to new possibilities for how to be, and where my voice comes from.
I go swing dancing several nights a week. It's my new hobby. I also play my guitar on city streets for fun.

always becoming more self-aware, reflecting on my life with honesty, leading campfire music jams, trying things I once thought I hated and discovering I love them, and astonishing others by remembering random details about past experiences.

I am remembering how much I love writing. I am in a quarter-life renaissance. I am currently working on two screenplays and I just began conceiving the idea for a third one tonight.

my killer abs... Just kidding, my youthful glow. People often peg me as being about 26.

I just finished watching "Warm Bodies" and I think it is my favorite film so far of 2013. My favorite films of 2012 include "Moonrise Kingdom", "Les Miserables" and "Seeking a Friend for the End of the World".

SHOWS: I don't try to make a habit out of watching television. I download shows intentionally. I am NOT a couch potato. I AM a hardcore fan of anything Whedonesque, and that absolutely includes Buffy and Firefly. I loved every moment of Lost, and I am hanging on every episode of HIMYM. Other shows I enjoy, in no particular order: Once Upon A Time, The Walking Dead, New Girl, South Park, Glee, Parks & Rec, The Big Bang Theory, Fringe, Community and SNL.

Believe me, with my life, I need to schedule time to even keep up with these shows. It would be better to have someone to cuddle with while watching some of these.

MUSIC: Shockingly, like so many others on here, I love music. I guess if I had to classify, I listen to indie-rock and folk. Dan Mangan, Edward Sharpe, Of Monsters & Men, Blue Rodeo, Imagine Dragons, Dar Williams, Jeremy Fisher and The Civil Wars being the most played these days. I also have a soft spot for anything New Wave (80's), and the cheesy pop songs of the 70's.
