Your Notes
Edit your notesI am analytical, inquisitive, and the anti-serious.
My Self-Summary
-I'm a Wikipedia addict and have wasted away hours reading about all sorts of random stuff. (No, seriously. I've even changed a Wiki page to prove I was right.)
-I will watch nearly anything from the Discovery or History channel. (And How I Met Your Mother.)
-I've never taken myself very seriously.
-I'm easy to get along with. (Except if your name is Jo.)
-I play the drums. Have for 12 years now.
-I refuse to watch television that isn't Tivo'd. (I'm OCD.)
-I look for the humorous side of everything.

-My most recent hobby is cooking. I've even made up a few recipes of my own.
-I'm an outside the box person. (And an inside the fort person.)
-I'm just moving back to Texas after almost 6 years in St. Louis... Glad to be back (And further from my girl. :/)
-I've thought about doing stand-up more than a few times.
-My musical tastes are odd and broad.

What I’m doing with my life
My work is boring, but it pays the bills. Life has so much more fun stuff to offer other than work though. I try to make the extracurricular stuff more of my life focus
My most recent extracurricular is writing. Mostly comedy lately.

The first things people usually notice about me
Some people also say that I look more than a bit like Seth Rogen. I may in fact be related to him. (Some people, try EVERYONE.)

The six things I could never do without
Seeing this as the case, I reject this question, and in its place, I will answer "The six things I could easily do without"
1) Raw onions- Imagine early hunter-gatherers as they discovered what did and did not make good food. They come upon this peculiar bulb. It smells strongly, but they're desperate, so they bite into it. It burns their eyes and mouth as they chew it, and later that day, the smell exudes from their very skin. And yet, it is decided that these bulbs make for exquisite food and should become a staple of the culinary world. Seems suspect to me...(I'm really weird.)
2) Reality television- This is not to say I haven't fallen into watching a 4 hour marathon of the Real World just like everyone else who watched MTV in the 90s, but honestly... is my life so much better for having been sucked in by this crap? Wouldn't I have been better served by doing something else with my time, such as, I don't know.. anything. Clearly the advertising gurus and producers have outsmarted us all and sucked the entire world into sitting, zombified through countless hours of trash, and thus, the only cure is complete prohibition of reality tv.
3) Judgment of character based on musical taste- What I once assumed was just a phase of high school life has proven to be an enduring trend within a growing fraction of the population. Snobbery in general is pretty lame, but c'mon. Quit being so stereotypical in your complete bucking of anything considered "the norm".
4) Halo- *GASP* Oh no he didn't just dis Halo, did he? I mean yes, video games are fun (especially on the Super Nintendo), but for fuck's sake, go outside. Especially if you're a child. For the love of God please let my children have real fun with animate beings.
5) Uptightness- Dirty jokes are funny. The fact that people get uncomfortable at hearing them makes me sad. I feel strongly that its time we shake off the Puritanical influences of the past and embrace the fact that the occasional dick or fart joke will not bring society crumbling down. The financial industry already did that...
6) Clowns- Just trust me on this one. We'd be better off without them. (You wild, kid.)

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
You should message me if
If you can think of a specific reason why you should not message me, you can message me and let me know that as well. I try to be nonpartisan, and I am completely welcome to hearing the other side of things.
