Spend way too much time working or hanging with the kids and I think it's time for adult company and conversation that isn't work or teenager related!

Love the Hawk's and the Sox but have been known to wander into Wrigley when someone else buys the ticket! I also enjoy fall afternoons in the sun (or snow) at a college football game. My son and I travel to a new place for a game every year. We've been to NIU, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Boise State and the Army-Navy Game in Philadelphia. Go Navy, Beat Army!

Since the whole pirate thing doesn't look like it's going to happen, I am regrouping and working on a new plan. For now, working on making my kids into cool interesting people.

Making up ridiculous stories to entertain my children even though they are well past the age where it's necessary. I look forward to the day they have me committed.

I also have a head filled with useless information so I kick ass at Trivial Pursuit !

Recently read Into Thin Air and while I have no urge to climb Mt. Everest, I have nothing but admiration for those who do! Also read lots of historical, some biographies and there's always time for a mindless action/adventure novel.

I love live music and in the last few years discovered the joys of Texas Hill country so lot's of Pat Green, Randy Rogers and Robert Earl Keen on the playlist. Anything by Jack White! Not so keen on jazz but maybe I just need someone to teach me the finer points?

My DVR is filling up with Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart, NCIS, Big Bang Theory and anything that catches my eye. Just started catching up on Breaking Bad and loving every minute!
