Open mindend and curious, I like to try new things and to indulge in those I like.
Particle physicist originally from Tuscany, I lived in Italy and Switzerland (in Geneva) for most of my life. Less than one year ago I moved to the US and I am excited about this change in my life.
It is a great opportunity to know and experience new things. Of course fun is welcome.

On the other hand I would love to share what I know. So if you are interested in Italian cooking or French baking be my guest. I think many more people will be more interested in it than in learning physics.

I am a crazy foodie and it goes well together with my love for travel. I used to play the piano, classical and jazz music in particular, so I have a passion for music too.

Once I was asked to take a personality test, apparently it is really popular so here is the result: ENTP. I am not sure what is means.

Principally a postdoc in Physics.

- Cooking, baking and eating (wine drinking too)

- Listening to music, much better than my playing skills

A very good book I read recently: The Emperor of All Maladies.

Directors/Movies, just a few: Wes Anderson, Hayao Miyazaki (everything), Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, Bronson), Park Chan-wook (Lady Vendetta), Spike Jonze (Adaptation), David Cronenberg. And a lot of old '80 movies like Back to The Future, Carpenter's movies and so on...

Music: The list would be too long. But I used to play the piano so I even like classical music.

Food: Italian, Japanese, whatever is good from a simple fruit to a complex chef's dish. Pastries/desserts especially French and Italian. Macarons.

Whatever makes me curious
