My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a bit of a slow burn. Commonly people will think I'm disinterested about anything and everything when in fact there's rarely anything I don't have some interest in.

I like my routines and I don't crave much change in my life. But I welcome it. I do not shy away from the unknown yet I rarely feel compelled to step outside my daily boundaries.

Like any good superhero the greater parts are made better when there's a weakness. My greatest fault is my lack of ambition when it comes to improving myself for me. It takes someone else in my life for me to work hard on improvement since my concerns are saved for those around me and rarely for myself.

Despite my age I don't feel like I live like an adult. In fact I know I don't. And that's okay.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Not enough. But now that I think about it I could be doing everything possible for me to work towards change and I'd still think I'm not doing enough. There's too much out there to ever be done.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Thinking too hard about this question.

I do well in social situations though I don't socialize all that much.

At all my jobs I've often been praised for leadership skills and my ability to communicate.

If I had a performance review for my life I'd get top marks for imagining conversations that will never happen.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've spent too long typing things and deleting them. In all honesty I don't know but I would imagine my height, since I'm a little shorter than the average guy.

If we extend this to something that is remembered after a day with me it'd likely be how I talk. My word choice has been described as snobbish by my best friend.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - I read plenty of non-fiction and fiction. Read random non-fiction as it pleases me with extra emphasis towards animals and food and less on biographies. Fiction has been heavy in fantasy in years past but I enjoy variety with stuff like Neil Gaiman, Chuck Palahniuk, and Name-Another-Popular-Author-Here. I also enjoy trying to enjoy the classics.

Random specifics that I enjoyed: Great Expectations, The Bell Jar, Shogun, The Wheel of Time series, Stardust, Neverwhere, The Time Traveler's Wife, and more!

Movies - Willing to watch just about anything and often don't dislike films as they find their ways to amuse me. Oddly love musicals both modern and classic. I prefer good writing over big explosions but I definitely try to watch a bit of everything.

Random specifics that I enjoyed: Any and all Wes Anderson or Coen Brothers films (like everyone else!), American Psycho, Requiem For a Dream, Moulin Rouge (possibly my most watched film), Top Gun (the other top spot for most watched), Edward Scissorhands, Silver Linings Playbook, The Town, Breakfast at Tiffany's, North by Northwest, Pleasantville (the first DVD I bought), and many, many more!

Shows - Rather picky here. Finished all of Dexter and 30 Rock. Going through Breaking Bad. When I get time I plan to watch more Mad Men and Californication. Thought House of Cards and The Newsroom were excellent.

Music - I go in-and-out of music. Some older favorites would be Barenaked Ladies, Tegan and Sara, and Mariachi El Bronx. Lately checking out Lorde, Mackelmore, the newest Kanye West album, AWOLNATION, and Manchester Orchestra. I listen to a lot of musicals, Disney songs, and show tunes when I'm in my car because they're the most fun to sing. You can join me if you're not embarrassed.

Food - I'll eat pretty much anything. I love burritos. I hate bananas. I try to keep things mixed up if I go out. I don't like Mediterranean food from what I've had. I aim to cook more.
The six things I could never do without

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The meaning of words.

How to say words that I've read but have never heard spoken.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working until late evening as I work swing shifts. But then I go home. Might have a friend over for some quick dinner and play games or something. I'm a simple creature.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have few qualms telling just about anything regarding my life.

People comment occasionally that they can't recall ever seeing me mad. I think most people don't realize they haven't often seen me truly happy, sad, or most other emotions. I do wonder that maybe the emotions I feel I'm faking are actually the real thing? I can't really tell.

You're curious. About me. Life. Robots. Yourself. Anything and everything. Talk to me about the esoteric and teach me something I already know and have forgotten. Show me something that nobody knew existed.

I'm also rarely serious. I'm often ridiculous.
