Born in Washington, DC, raised in Virginia and nurtured in Albany, Georgia....I am a Bahá'í world citizen who loves travel, culture and people; which means I indulge in food, communicating, creating, dance and music....and of course futbol! ...aka 'soccer'.
I have traveled to Mexico (30 times), Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Hong Kong (2), Taiwan, Panama, Dominican Republic (2), Ecuador (2), Bolivia, Canada, England (2), Netherlands (2), France (6) and lived in Germany as a teenager.
I believe and practice "Ivolution" = I + Evolution = taking control and ownership of my personal growth and development.
I am a Southern Gentleman, with an East Coast mentality, in a West Coast environment - the best of all worlds!
I know the power of words and I am learning the even greater power of silence.
My activities include: Travel, Eating/Cooking, music, dancing, soccer a.k.a. football, photography, social entrepreneurship, Bahá'í Faith, intellectual and/or philosophical conversations, public speaking and Toastmasters International, Scrabble, Model United Nations, the United Nations and globalization, volunteerism and service. I also see myself as a true global nomad and "lifestyle chameleon" because, although I have preferences and favorites, I always find the joy in anything and appreciate time and effort more so than details.
My newest interests since I moved to SF include: yoga, hiking, healthier cooking, healthier eating, greener living.

"Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend." - Bruce Lee
Tao Te Ching Chapter 8- "The highest good is like water. Water benefits all the material beings very well, and doesn't contend. It stays at the place where many people think is bad. Therefore, it is close to Tao. Simply, it never contends, so it never errs."
