My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
First of all, I'm not on OKC to pursue random sexcapades. On the other hand, if you'd like some friendly conversation, then please read a bit about me, and if you like what you read, message me. I usually respond to well-written or thought/laugh-provoking messages.

Second, no smokers, please. I have sensitive sinuses and they don’t like you. Not to mention how gross it is to smell and/or kiss an ashtray…and that whole cancer bit. *shudder*

Third, I'm a romantic. The definition here meaning someone who displays love/affection openly and often (and also expects the same in return). If you want to know more, then message me.

I have great interest in traveling, reading, the outdoors, hiking, puppies, cheese, honesty, books, movies, the internet, making lists, exercising, photography, foot massages, fluffy pillows, soft comforters, plush carpets, TECHNOLOGY, PC games, computers that work, comedy, crime, psychology, music, running, people who work from home (or have their own business), food, and most importantly YOU (only if you're interesting, though).

If you want more specifics, read my answers to the questions on here. I'm fairly certain I've answered most of them. ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Figuring it out. Working.

Hopefully, I'll be able to travel outside of the United States again. I've been to Italy, Switzerland, and a little bit of France. Some of the places I'd like to go include: England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Italy (again), Switzerland (again), Germany, Spain, Greece, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Australia, New Zealand...and more. Traveling inside the United States is also a possibility. Road trip, anyone?

Oh, and I'm also spending a lot of time being sarcastic and facetious.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I don't mean to be braggadocious, but I'm quite good at reading, writing, editing, cuddling*, kissing, grammar, being bored, being lazy, being dependable, being punctual, being funny, being logical, being helpful, being honest, being modest to the point of self-deprecation, being indecisive, being silly, looking better in person than any of my pictures (or at least that's what I've been told)...

*I am quite a softie for simple, romantic, and beautiful things. One of my absolute favorite things in the world (this list includes dogs, love, books, nature, and technology) is CUDDLING. I love being so close to someone that there are no unnecessary and awkward barriers or filters. I like being able to lie next to a person and just hold on. No unnecessary talking, just basking in the simple glory of another's company. It is one of the greater feelings in the world.

....well, enough of that.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Probably my freckles...I get comments about those. Or my eyes.

Or, you could just tell me?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
A) I absolutely adore books. I'm something of a Bibliophile. I was reading A Song of Ice and Fire book series (ie. the Game of Thrones book series), but I stopped reading most of the way through the fifth book because I want to wait for Mr. Martin to publish the next one. I love Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman and if you haven't read it, you can borrow my copy. Maybe. I read a lot of fiction that involves crime detection, thrilling adventures, normal-ish romance stories, supernatural/sci-fi stuffs, and such. I do also pick up the occasional non-fiction books about history, politics of past and present, odd myths or urban legends, (in)famous crimes and criminals, secret societies, medical techniques & practices, psychology, and other random topics. I own a Kindle, and honestly, that's where I do most of my reading these days. But I also have a pretty significant tangible library. I can read many books at a time (okay, not literally AT A SINGLE TIME, but I can start one book, then another, etc. Rinse. Repeat.)

B.1.) I love movies. I enjoy everything from the typical "guy's movie" (aka. action-packed, shoot-'em-up, car chase-infused drama) to the typical "girl's movie" (aka. cutesy, romantic, adorable love stories with a twist or a bit of comedy). I have a huge preference for comedy, though.

B.2.) I have a few shows I enjoy or have enjoyed in the past (and I usually watch everything on a computer after it's aired). Current shows: Arrow, The Flash, Gotham, Scandal, How To Get Away With Murder, Game of Thrones, Castle, Graceland, Rookie Blue, New Girl, The Mindy Project, Cougar Town, The Ellen Show, So You Think You Can Dance; Older shows: House, Alias, Flight of the Conchords, Dollhouse, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Off the Map, Firefly, Pushing Daisies, Better Off Ted, The Deep End...

C) I also love music. I am very eclectic. I prefer indie, rock, and alternative, but I will listen to oldies, rap, punk, or pop. I will give most things a listen.

D) I enjoy food. I like all breakfast foods (oatmeal, pancakes, biscuits/gravy, french toast, eggs, etc.), avocado, soups, macaroni and cheese, seafood, pizza, shepherd's pie, chicken, rice, granola bars, raisins, anything chocolate, ice cream cones, potatoes, cake, strawberries, cheese, and other random things...like cake/brownie batter and cookie dough. I know this list sounds slightly random, but I just happen to think the aforementioned things are particularly awesome (not to the exclusion of other things, of course).

My ALL TIME favorite quotables, jokes, and general hilarity come from Eddie Izzard's comedy shows and amazing awesomeness. I love comedy of all sorts. =]
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Excluding the obvious requirements to live (water, food, oxygen, etc)...

1) Love, 2) Friends, 3) Technology, 4) Books, 5) Cuddles, 6) The Ability To Think
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Love. Men. The Future. Desire. Secret Societies. Careers. Crime. Odd Things People Do. How Awesome Music Is. Why I Haven't Met Any Interesting People Lately. What Motivates People. How People Can Be So Apathetic. How Illogical People Are. Where I'd Like To Go Next. How Much I'd Love To Go To Law School And Medical School Just For The Personal Enrichment. What To Do With My Life. Health & Fitness. Where The Love Of My Life Is. Why Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion Are So Awesome.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Man, I'm such a bore. I'm usually reading, watching movies, or on my computer. If I had someone special to spend the time with, then I'd do that.

Clarification: I've NEVER been drunk, pissed, wasted, three sheets to the wind, plastered, or any other fun phrase for drinking too much. I don't often go out and drink. I have wine with dinner on occasion. And I do like rum. But I consume alcohol very sparingly.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Hmmm...private things...

-Talking to attractive guys makes me giddy and nervous.
-I could VERY easily fall for a guy who makes me most anything that can be found at: Pretty Foods Tumblr. Seriously. I get hungry just flipping through the pages.
-I laugh and/or smile a lot, though my "normal" non-emoting face probably looks angry or concerned. (Resting Bitch Face is what they call it). I can't help it and I don't know how to fix it. My face does what it wants.
-I'm a flexible, adaptable, and open-minded person. Most of the time. (I don't like when plans change at the last minute...or if I'm notified late about something that concerns me.)
-My OKC "personality traits" are *somewhat* accurate.
-I love when my significant other comes up behind me and hugs/holds me or gives me random kisses/touches. Also, a good massage CAN NOT be beat.
- I can be indecisive about many things because I don't like making decisions which once made may stop me from enjoying the experiences of the other choices.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Welcome to one of the more important sections of my profile. First of all, again, I prefer non-smokers who take care of themselves and would be willing to workout with me (running, hiking, biking, weight lifting, whatever) and eat semi-healthy. I’ll motivate you and you motivate me! Second, it’s fairly important that we share some of the same goals, desires, ideologies, etc. Third, I also want someone who can be lazy at times (just not ALL the time). Sitting around watching movies, cuddling, and talking are important activities that should not be overlooked.

If you’ve gotten this far in my profile, either you skipped to this part OR you actually read my entire profile and I appreciate it. You should message me if you fit somewhere within those first three preferences. Also, message me if you're kind, passionate, intelligent, FUNNY, open-minded, and you like dogs.

If you meet the above requirements and you have read all the way down here (and you aren’t completely turned off by my verbosity), then you should message me. Making me laugh or smile is very easy to do, so get on with it!
