I hope to improve the human condition and change the world, no
matter how naive that may seem. I'm lucky that my job can help me
do that. I believe we choose to be happy or to be sad, the mind is
a pretty powerful thing. I also believe that people are inherently
good if you give them the opportunity to be.
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from the University of Florida about a year ago and
moved to DC. I work at a social change communications firm. My
clients are foundations and nonprofits mainly in the public health
realm. I work on issues like childhood obesity, anti-tobacco,
develop strategies to provide access to healthy foods and healthy
opportunities for vulnerable populations, climate change issues and
it's affects on our health, and reducing infant mortality rates,
among others. I love what I do, and no matter how may set backs we
have when it comes to these issues, the small wins matter ALOT.
What I've learned is that words matter. People listen. Changes can
I’m really good at
Empathizing with people. I believe EQ is more important and will
get you further in life than IQ.
Licking my elbow... Ya it's not impossible.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. It's pretty voluminous.

The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My future. How to do good and be better.
On a typical Friday night I am
Exploring DC, going out with friends or trying one of the amazing
restaurants we have in this city.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I used to be a Seminole... Then went to UF. Go Gators.
