My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
OK … I for one am an open book, honest to a fault … so if you prefer a bunch of, albeit it well crafted, Jibba Jabba stop reading now … if not, introducing “me”

I am a Puerto Rican American, who grew up in NYC, with dual US/UK citizenship post 11 fabulous years in London ... I hold an Industrial (some would say “imaginary”) Engineering degree as well as an MBA in Finance … I am intelligent and driven, but not a geek!

I moved to Paris in late-July 2012 and now find myself back in London ... obviously never planned ahead when choosing my OKC name!

I desire a “real” relationship in which we can enjoy each other's company, be adults and childish at the same time, laugh, share some great meals/experiences/wine & spirits, make new ones (experiences not wine & spirits, though we can try!), learn from one another ... if it leads to more, fabulous! ... If not, hope we can always remember the other with a smile as well as with no regrets
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in finance and with that I ask you don't judge my personality let alone who I am based solely on my chosen profession as we are not all evil nor boring, plus I love my job and not ashamed to admit that … I do work very long hours, but recognize the time has come to start focusing a bit more on the “non-work me”

In many ways I live a dual-life in that 3.5 weeks of the month I am just another single guy in London allowing me to focus on my career and, now, me a bit more, hopefully you/us in the future … I then spend a 3- to 4-day weekend each month visiting my 5- and 7-year olds from my previously (NOT current) marriage who live in the US with their mother during which my 100% focus is on them … as strange as it may sound, while I hate being separated from them (the children to be 100% clear), this horrible experience has made me a better father, (potential) future husband/partner, friend, son, brother and even co-worker … not happy about the journey, but happy (indeed grateful) for the destination

The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can be very quiet when you first meet me, especially in a group setting

I love to make people laugh, even at my expense

I like to talk, am expressive and write run-on sentences as you can already tell
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I spend all day reading company/industry specific news, macro news, political events, company press release/financials, sports pages mid-morning … that I can't remember the last real book that was not assigned to me to read! Sorry if that is horrible, but true. I do at least know at least a little about a hell of a lot!

Movies: are all viewed on the plane these days ... just saw Ted and that is one funny-ass movie! I love It's a Wonderful Life as there is such deep meaning in that movie, never understood why so many liked The Hangover as the best bits were in the attractions (maybe it’s just me) ... Swingers is an incredible movie that very few women appreciate the insight into the male view on relationships
and break-ups it provides ... Say Anything is epic (“What I really want to do with my life - what I want to do for a living - is I want to be with your daughter. I'm good at it.”) as is Pretty in Pink and Ferris Bueller's Day Off (“Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”) ... If The Notebook doesn't make you cry you have issues or maybe cause I saw so much of my grandparents in it that I am bias ... Goodfellas and The Godfather (I am from Brooklyn!) ... The Usual Suspects, The Wedding Crashers, Made, The Pianist, Reservoir Dogs, The Bourne series, A River Runs Through It, Casablanca, Taxi Driver, The Nutty Professor (“Hercules, Hercules …”) ... True Romance is one of the best movies ever created!

TV: I don't watch nor own a TV these days, but love history programmes/documentaries (love learning little things) as well as shows like Modern Family, Family Guy, crime shows (law enforcement family, organized crime girlfriends) ... prefer live sports

Music: Everything except Hard Rock/Metal from classical to country to club to R&B to rap ... huge Robbie Williams fan as well as of U2, Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Nora Jones, Maxwell, Frank Sinatra (saw him 5 times), Depeche Mode, The Smiths, Morrisey, New Order, Eminem, Jay-Z, The Notorious B.I.G., Black Eye Peas, Mark Anthony, Julio Iglesias, Tito Puente

Food: I love food (believe in working out to eat!) and do cook just not easy to cook for one so hopefully you can help with that and, even better that we get to cook together ... as for what I like to eat ... Thai, proper Indian (London is the best, sorry), Middle Eastern, Italian, Puerto Rican/Cuban, Tex-Mex, Real-Mex, a good steak, a proper burger, pizza, chocolate gelato and never underestimate a good salad … oh, bacon makes (almost) everything better!

Drink: Prefer Wine and Whiskey with the occasional pint … rum and vodka are options as are nice boat drinks on the beach
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1- My children ... love seeing life through their eyes

2- Running, working out ... hate when I am injured and unable to run as it clears my mind and just starts off my day in a great fashion ... I run 3-4 times a week

3- Isopure creamy vanilla protein shakes with a large scoop of peanut butter, low-fat milk and ice in the morning

4- Great food & wine/whiskey

5- Chocolate (actually prefer the cheap stuff keeping a Costco-size bag of Peanut M&Ms in my drawer at work)

6- The smell, feel and taste of a woman
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life ... What does it all mean? HA! … the lessons learned and how to apply them to the future, yet never forgetting regardless how bad things can seem someone always has it worst so never overlook your blessings

Laughing about experiences of the past with friends, family and randoms

Why the hell doesn't anyone in London know the phrase "excuse me" let alone the definition of "personal space?!"

My children with a smile and a father’s concern

Work is never far off the radar

Finally, when are YOU going to send me a message?! Seriously? You’ve invested this much time …
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually exhausted from the workweek so just chill with a good (usually home-cooked; I do include warming up a pizza – after doctoring it up - and making a salad as home cooked … full disclosure!, but I can actually cook-cook) meal and bottle of vin either at home or the occasional night out with friends … try to get a solid night’s rest to make the most of The weekend starting Saturday morning exploring different parts, museums, shopping, random walkabout, meet up with friends during the day and/or evening, I take a lot of photos of random stuff!)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
As its private I will not make it public ... I do wear colourful, funny socks, but that's not it
