My self-summary
Wow, I remember writing essays in school on all different sorts of topics, but one of them was never myself. On the day I created this profile, I was feeling somewhat depressed so my best friend came over and talked to me about why. The primary reason was I had met 3 people online in the previous several months that were of romantic interest; I hadn't talked to all 3 of them much in the few preceding weeks (because I'd been busy with moving and family affairs for the holidays) but in the 24 hour hour period preceding the conversation with my friend, all 3 told me they had gotten back together with their respective ex's. My response to all 3 was "Insanity - noun - performing the same action or task repetitively while expecting a different result." So my friend told me about this site and said it's a good place to meet people who are actually looking for more than just a casual encounter, be it a friend or a date. So here I am, and I'm looking for you!

The four most important characteristics to me in any relationship (be it romantic, professional, friend, family, or other) are Honesty, Communication, Loyalty, and Responsibility.

Some Random facts about me:

I love to be touched; Pet me, kiss me, lick me.
I don't like the cold unless I have someone to keep me warm.
I prefer white wine over red.
I'm very adventurous and like to try new things.
I rarely drink soda; it's usually, water, tea, or a flavored drink for me.
I lived in Portland, OR for 4 of the worst years of my life.
I have near perfect uncorrected vision.
I love thunderstorms.
I like to spend a rainy day watching the rain.
I can't whistle.
I've never ridden a motorcycle.
I've never owned a car older than myself.
I've never been to NYC.
I've never done an illicit drug - EVER!
I've never traveled overseas.
I've never had sex with an alien midget mummy while jumping up and down on a pogo stick with my hands tied behind my back.

Look for the next volume coming soon...
What I’m doing with my life
My primary goal is to pursue a career in aviation, but currently working in supply chain and inventory management. I really enjoy it, but there's nothing like flying a plane. Actually, I'm hooked on anything to do with transportation - trains, planes, and automobiles...and boats...and machines...and spacecraft. Please pay attention for travel updates..
I’m really good at
Making Out, hahaha. I'm sort of a Joe of all Trades (Joe has even mastered some). I'm really good at conflict-resolution and problem-solving. I'm really good at counting, organization, coordination, and details...but this isn't a resume.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm left-handed...Honestly, I'm not sure. Why don't you meet me and tell me what the first thing you notice about me is.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Well, I can't give just one favorite, but I'll give you a few
examples:

Books: I'm illiterate. Seriously, I don't read. Oh wait, that's
just easily bored. Ok, this is the only one I give a favorite on -
"Alas, Babylon" - this is the last book I read cover to cover...in 10th grade...over 12 years ago. In fact, I was so interested in this book, I read ahead of the rest of the class. My English teacher was mad because I wasn't following along with the class.

Movies: The Beach, Catch Me If You Can, The Hunt For Red October, Avatar, Back to the Future (1,2,3), The Butterfly Effect, Mamma Mia, Gone in 60 Seconds, The Italian Job, Beetlejuice, Valkyrie, Trick...and many many more I can't think of at the moment.

Music: Dance/Electronic, Classic Rock, 80's, 70's, some 60's, Katy Perry (probably the only pop artist I like), Kate Ryan, One Republic, Adele, The Killers, Ellie Goulding, The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Depeche Mode, Bette Midler, Trinket, DJ Tiesto, DJ Limey, Culture Club, Wham, Elton John, Carly Simon, Garbage...just to name a few.

Food: Kolaches...I've actually had them shipped to me when I
couldn't get them locally. I also really like cream sauces - Do you think this is perverse?
The six things I could never do without
Reliable Transportation - this is usually in the form of a large automobile watching the days go by, I'm going under...

Communication with the world not immediately around me - ideally, this is in the form of a computer with reliable internet access, but can also take the form of telephone or interactive TV. I'd just go crazy if I had to sit in my apartment alone and do nothing all day.

My Blistex - If I was given an ultimatum that I had to give up Blistex or alcohol, it would be alcohol, but don't get any ideas... unless you're a doctor and can prove that one or the other will seriously diminish my quality of life.

Love and Affection - I'm just not sure how I would cope in a post-apocalyptic world where no one touched anyone else for fear of contamination and no one loved another for fear they would lose that person or couldn't trust them.

Blankets - despite spending 4 years in Portland (or perhaps because of it), I do not like feeling cold now.

Fuel - If you were to trace everything you use and do in your modern daily life back to it's beginning, at some point, it would all break down without some type of fuel.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future. My Future, your future, the world future. I admire futurists like Michio Kaku. The most important goal anyone can have is to make the world a better place for the future.
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't really have a typical Friday Night. I will say it's extremely rare that I go out to any club or bar. That's just not my thing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Call me old-fashioned, but I like to talk to a guy online a few times before exchanging phone numbers. I like to sleep naked. I'm gay. I masturbate. If I admitted it here on the interwebs where anyone can see it, then it wouldn't be very private, now would it?
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like guys
  • Ages 20–40
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, activity partners, long-distance penpals
You should message me if
If what? You mean you've read this far and haven't messaged me already? What are you waiting for? The Damned Apocalypse? Ok, if you're ready to explore the world with a person unlike any other you've ever met. No Expectations, No Disappointments.
