I am in awe of the world around and love being surrounded by the beauty of nature (you know, the serenity of the sound of the waves as they break on the beach, the power unleashed in a thunderstorm). I have a strong faith and try to live accordingly. I can be kind of a brainiac (I'm an engineer), but not a “know it all”.

I have a lot going on in my life. I think of it as the spinning plate theory. I remember watching the Ed Sulivan show as a kid, and every now and then there'd be act where a guy would spin twenty plates on rods and keep them going. Of course, the trick is that each plate had to keep getting spun or it'd fall off the rod.

And so it is with me; I have a several plates spinning. Personal growth is very important to me: Physically, mentally, and spiritually. I work out. I enjoy the solitude of a long run. I'm taking on new challenges at work (which are pretty cool).
