My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I enjoy the outdoors, sports, art, music, and good company. Basketball would be my choice of sports, but I also really enjoy touch football, Ultimate Frisbe, soccer, cycling and running. If it is a competitive physical activity then I am game, but I am only competitive out of good fun.

I enjoy people who know how to let go of outside pressures, be down to earth, yet remain driven to go after what they want in life.

I believe that history is made in the midst of the local scenes rather than on the big stages.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am a doctoral student at Rutgers. I study reward, decision making, and perception (mostly vision)

If you want to know more ask! I would love to talk about it!

Outside of that, I am just generally trying to enjoy myself and the people around me when I can.

This is going to be lengthy, so to save you some time I will just say that there is something from every genre that I enjoy, but these are the media that move me the most.

Sci-Fi: The Dune Series, Stranger in a Strange Land, The Man Who Sold the Moon, Citizen of the Galaxy, The Sparrow, and Children of God.....

Non-Fiction: Anything related to neuroscience, philosophy, or applications of physics. Current Favorites: Phantoms in the Brain, The Righteous Mind: Why good people are torn between politics and religion, and Physics of the impossible,

TV: Criminal Minds, Doctor Who, Torchwood,The IT Crowd, Kids in the Hall, Game of Thrones, The Big Bang Theory, Seinfeld and Friends, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Family Guy, Dexter, 30 Rock, Arrested Development, Sherlock, Californication, Archer, The League, Battlestar Galactica

Music: If it has a good groove, I'm in......I love a good blues jam in a live venue and my tastes are eclectic. If it is popular in the CLUB or bars, I probably don't know the lyrics, but can dance my ass off to it.
The six things I could never do without
