Well I'm just going to jump right into things self-summary wise with a flurry of statements about my general character.

To begin, I like the outdoors and enjoy going on hikes in the woods. I'm outdoorsy this way and like the actual outdoors rather than the gym.

I'm a 23-year-old student attending University for IT/Multimedia development and am graduating this summer and going to start my Masters next year. I'm ambitious and school is important to me.

I am a relatively quiet person.... I say relatively quiet cause I'm also inclined to ramble in depth once started about all kinds of topics.

I like to watch a lot of classic films, am a fan of philosophy, and like to read and write creatively and have been involved with the literary magazine at my school.

In terms of employment I've worked in the past as a part time research assistant for the University and am working again as one. Right now I'm working on developing a interactive guidance system for museums in a joint project with some of the museums in Ottawa.

I like to relax by reading a book, or going to the Mayfair Theater, it's one of my favourite places in Ottawa. I like hanging out with my friends and doing stuff with them like going to different festivals in the city as they come up.

What I would like to do with my life is travel. I've been to Nice, France for a bit. But overall haven't traveled much. I'm planning a Euro-trip for this summer.

I'm not sure so I'm just going to list a bunch of a various things I can do. Some of them may be more impressive than others.
-continually jog for at least a kilometer.
-make a browser game in 48 hours.
-get a short story published
-get a short story rejected
-make a basic meal
-paying attention despite appearing absentminded
-manage a year long group project
-consoling and supporting friends
-plan camping trips
-doing a kegstand
-reading dense books
-making sense of foreign professors
-managing my finances
-rambling about movies/books
-winning trivia games

That I wear glasses? That I tend to always have a five o' clock shadow or light beard. I can't help it. It grows too fast. :/

I love art in all it's forms and it's important to me as I'm a bit of a creative type despite my technical degree. I'm a fan of the weird or more surreal and this comic kind of sums up my thoughts on art and kind of my general perspective on life overall:

This next section is going to get a bit listy as it involves my favourite things.

Books: would probably have to be a mix of a few classics like Heart of Darkness, Steppenwolf, Moby-Dick, and then a few nerdy genre ones like Dune, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and anything by Lovecraft. My, favourite of all time though would have to be Moby-Dick. Reading it is like running a marathon but it's worth it.

I tend to read a lot of mythology, history, and non-fiction now. Mostly books on various subjects that I'll pick up and kind of slowly read.

Film: As for my taste in film it is somewhat eclectic. I enjoy all kinds of movies, from Hollywood blockbusters to more artsy films, and have seen a wide variety. Favorites would have to be: Stalker, Apocalypse Now, Fight Club, Lord of the Rings, The Seven Samurai, Nosferatu, The Dark Knight, A Clockwork Orange, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Pans Labyrinth, Snatch, and The Good The Bad and The Ugly, which has a unforgettable ending and is tied with the Seventh Seal for my favourite film.

Music: As for music one thing I particularly love is Canadian post-rock music. Most of it out of the Montreal area and bands such as A Silver Mt Zion, or Godspeed You! Black Emperor. It's a type of music I really just love exploring. Here's a video of one of my favourite songs:

How and why things work.

When I hang out with my friends it's generally having a lazy drunken lets-get-together-and-play-board-games-night. Although not normal board games like Monopoly. Fun board games like Settlers of Catan and Shogun. Either that or going out to have some kind of adventure and sing Karaoke, or go skating or swimming or whatever the hell we feel like.

When I don't go out it's generally a stay inside and do homework because it's a something-is-due-soon-that-I-really-need-to-get-done-night.

Always a bit of a toss up.
