What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Hi, I'm John. I'm a hyper-functional member of the human species with obvious imperfections and I'm cool with it. I've done a lot in my life, like, a lot-a lot, but I want to do it all. I'm pretty adaptable. I'm honest and transparent. I'm passionate about a wide variety of things and like to be around the same flock. I think Passion is an important part of the human condition. I love art, film, books and chocolate pudding. And elipses'...and hyphenated-words.

I moved to Atlanta in 2010 and so far it's been pretty groovy. My career of nearly 15 years is a slowly dying breed, so thank God I went to a top 3 art school and have relevant skills and talent. You know what they say..."when life gives you lemons"...freeze them and throw them at people. I'm a part time costumer and have worked on some pretty cool shows in NYC. A couple of witches, a girl in pink and a group of struggling East Village artists are favorites. I'm looking for compatible people for friendship, learning new things, dining-out, dining-in, geeking out over historical cinema or just waxing about your week over coffee. Or beer. Or water.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making stuff. Ringling School of Art and Design, BFA in illustration. Class of '97.

My height. I'm 6'5"...it's deceptive in photographs.

Vacation Days
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Life. Where I am. Where I'm headed...existential fodder like that. I also obsess over art and music and film.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Because I spend so much time with my personality "turned on", (forced extroversion!), I enjoy quiet evenings at home, at dinner or out at a film, preferably enjoying the company with someone who is engaging, considerate and kind.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm pretty much an open book. Ask me anything.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're self aware. You're witty. You like to shop and laugh. You're a foodie. You have passion AND compassion. You're not afraid to color/think/live outside the lines, You believe in giving back to (a) community. You are, in some way, part of fandom, You're not living in a gay bar or creeping in seedy chat rooms, (pot, kettle?!). You understand that I'm here for friends and dating (which doesn't imply sex on the first few dates). In the grand scheme of life I'd like to reach self-actualization, but for now, finding simpatico seems to be the outstretched, if not hard-to-obtain goal.

CHEERS!
