--While I am not resigned to the fact that it's not exactly easy to find love or friends, it's been difficult for these last half-dozen years. And ideally, I am looking for friends, if not something more. I'm a pretty humble person most of the time, but I really like to make others feel as though they are important, a fact that I stand behind in my actual thoughts. I can be a rather cynical person, and crass at times, speaking harshly. But what I generally say is a statement of fact and not a lie.
--Mostly I am relaxed, although I do like to get out and do things. I am a gamer, but given a choice between sitting and leveling a Shaman in World of Warcraft and finding true social interaction outside of my apartment, I would take the latter. I do not like to be in one place for extended periods and it makes the whole living without any roommates a little jarring at times.
--Striking up conversations is exceptionally easy for me, and as long as you have something to say back to me, I will likely be someone you would want to get to know, although that may just be me trying to inflate my importance a little. But I think it might be true, at the very least. And if I can make you laugh within the first 5 minutes of a face-to-face contact, then we're already off on the right foot.
--I would love to hear from anyone and everyone and am typically not picky about who I talk to. I'm looking for friends, love, chat, even just finding a buddy to just hang out with... frankly, I don't have a preference.

Working at a job I think is okay, but could do something more meaningful.

Writing, reading, listening, and an assortment of other things. I'm good at getting mad, but only if something super unjust or poorly planned occurs. I like trying to fix injustice.

I can make people laugh, and I can generally get one out of a person in short order. And I would like to think I am engaging in topical conversation, regardless. I love to listen.

I like most science fiction books, sci-fi movies, most music, except tribal and foreign, and I like cheese, oranges, and anything chocolate.

Cats, cat food (by default, I suppose), satin pajamas, tea, and my computer, which I need to talk to the lovely people of the world.

Where to go, what to do, who I've left behind and how I can fix my current problems.

Working, actually. Third shift without weekends isn't super fun, but I have ways of working around such an abysmal arrangement.

I don't regret anything or hide my life. I fell in love with the wrong person over a decade ago and paid for it since.
