My Notes edit
My self-summary
I sometimes feel that something uncontrollable is guiding me in my decisions...because more often than not I find myself in a positive situation that were a result of a past decision. These situations always leave me pondering.
I'll add more l8r...
What I'm doing with my life
I'm really good at
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
As for music, my favs folder is 7.5GB+ (~1,600 songs). I like everything from 60's all the way to present. I like punk, pop, rap, oldies, 80's, techno, country, parody, metal, classical, etc.. My friends sometimes laugh at how I can go from Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train to Patsy Cline - Crazy, Hollies - Stay, or Toto - Africa. :)
For food, I like Chinese, Indian, typical American food: Pizza (Ninos is the BEST!), burgers, fish, etc.. These are my favorites but I eat them the least. I keep things healthy. Cereal, fruits, milk, sandwiches, and some pasta is the typical meal you'll see me eating at work or for dinner. I try to keep in shape so I hate to flush all that hard work down the drain by pigging out on crap-food. Not to say I don't indulge every now and then - weekends I might splurge :)
The six things I could never do without
#1) My Watch - Weirdest thing...within the past year I've become interested in watches. I don't buy them, just look. So when I'm at the mall and see a jewelry shop, I'm there! I can't explain the interest, it's just there. #2) My iPod - I use this on a daily basis. I've got all my favorite music, and movies on this thing. It's great for listening in the car and at work when I'm plucking away at the keyboard; or when I'm at the gym - I love to watch action movies when I'm working out. (It gets me pumped and I eventually forget the amount of work I'm doing :-) #3) My Car - For obvious reasons. Not a fancy car, but it gets ~30MPG, which is great and perfect for my needs. My next one will be a little more fancy, but I'm in no rush; especially with the gas prices the way they are. I guess my motorcycle falls in this category as well :)) #4) My computer - I'm not using it as much as I use to, but it connects me to my second world. Without it, I wouldn't be able to do the things I'm doing right now - like checking the weather, and updating this profile :-p #5) My TV/Movies - When I'm ready to relax a bit there's nothing like putting a movie on and laying back on the sofa. I wish there was more time in a day though.. I feel a little guilty if I watch TV/movies all the time. I limit myself to 1-2 movies a week, plus a little discovery channel/animal planet per week. That's all I have time for, unfortunately. #6) My friends/family. I visit them all the time and have friends over just as much.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I also think about how the world would be if this... or that... example: what if the world slowly gravitated to learn/use 1 language (I pick Chinese since it's currently the majority). Or I'll think about how the world would react to futuristic technology (ie: teleportation) and how it would impact our economy (both pros and cons) Or what if you could take some current technology back to the 1700's. How would our great great great grandparents react? Would they burn you at the stake, embrace you as a God, etc.. ?
I do think about real-life stuff too. Like how much longer until I move into a bigger house :))
On a typical Friday night I am
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here
