Howdy. I guess I'll lead with this: Mormon is my last name, I'm not affiliated with the church of Latter-day Saints.
Also, I've met someone and have no intentions of screwing it up. So, that said, if you're exclusively looking for someone to date and have no interest in new friends, move on. That's what I'm leaving this up for.

I also feel the need to clarify this: If you can't tolerate the following, just go ahead and click the back button:
-I'm a bowhunter and I hunt gator. I don't do it for fun, and I don't just sit in a tree until something comes by. Many a time, I've tracked something for hours or miles and still come home empty-handed.
-I live with my mom (for now). She got laid off from her full-time job a couple months ago. I've been helping with the bills. also, my last room mates fucked me over pretty hard (moved out while I was out of town at a funeral)
-AVID guitarist. You'd think this wouldn't deter people. But quite often, If someone calls/texts me asking if I want to hang out, it's fairly common for me to say "In a few hours, I'm trying to work this song out"
-I've met someone, pretty serious, not interested in screwing it up. if you feel you can be friends with a guy with no romantic/sexual implications, then we can hang.
-I put myself first. I tend to plan when to study, or get something done. Don't get pissed at me if I say I can't hang out because I'm studying for a final or something or I have to get my laundry done. I work 5 days a week, and only have 2 uniforms for work.
-I'm not religious. I have no problem with people of faith, just not my thing. Please don't preach to me or tell me how much I need religion.
- I don't smoke weed. I don't have a problem with people that do, but I DO get ramdomly drug tested by my job. 3 tests in the last 2 months. 2 of them were 2 1/2 weeks apart. not risking all my income to get high. not an even trade in my book.
A few things about me: I'm a musician (guitar, bass drums, piano, and harmonica. Really want to learn bagpipes)(mainly stick to guitar)
I work full time as a security guard. It's an alright job. I can study and do homework while I'm at work. I have had some crazy things to deal with though. So it's not as dull as I'd like it sometimes, but it can make an interesting story later.
Because of my job, I have come to despise Winn Dixie.
I'm an avid DIY-er. Most of the things I learn tend to be how to make something. I've made my own guitars, to beer, mead (honey wine, for anyone who hasn't heard of it), a self-powering lamp, etc.
Physical and applied sciences are really interesting to me. Even more so if I can find a practical use for it in my life.
I'm a nerd. Into video games and Sci-fi and all that jazz. Don't actually like COD though.
I like being outdoors doing just about anything. I'm usually in Riverside or near the beach if my car able to handle it and it's warm enough.

I tend to learn/excel at things most people don't look into. I'm a luthier (builder of stringed instruments), micro-brewer (I make my own beer and wine), and other things. carpentry, simple engineering. etc.
I'm also really good at math.

hmmm... as far as books go, I really dig horror, dystopian, and sci-fi. H.P. Lovecraft is my favorite horror author, but my favorite book would probably have to be 1984. Movies and are kind of the same deal but add comedy and historical stuff and such. I'll give anything a shot if Joss Whedon's name is on it.
FOOD! I love to food. except coconuts. coconuts are proof that evil naturally exists in this world.
And music is a long list. I listen to a lot of different genres, but I'm pretty picky.
A short list of bands/artists I like would be as follows:
9 Days, 3rd Eye Blind, Eluveitie, Hendrix (of course), The Beatles, AC/DC, Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Adele (do not judge), Joe Satriani, Dream Theater, Rush, Metallica, SOiL, Mushroomhead, Barenaked Ladies, Erik Mongrain, Trans-Siberian Orchestra (seen them live 4 times), Tool, A Perfect Circle, Shinedown, etc, etc.

I'll skip the smartass answer that usually consists of air, food, shelter, etc. and I'll just say friends/family are a given.
So that would leave me with Caffeine (preferably coffee or tea), musical instruments, internet (I know it sounds bad, but I'm addicted to the wealth of knowledge we have readily available literally at our fingertips), adventures..... will add 5 and 6 at later time.

every morning when I wake up, I add 9 minutes to the current time, subtract that from the time I have to be at work and deduce if I can afford to hit the snooze button one more time.
I get a lot of cool guitar riffs and stuff in my head conveniently when there's no instrument around and I forget it later. usually spend a few hours a week trying to remember them.
Random things to build or make. stuff like that.
and of course planning adventures for whatever.

Jamming. Having adventures. Sleeping. there's really no typical night for me.

In all seriousness though, why would I post anything private on the internet?
I know it says "that you're willing to admit", but why spoil the fun?

If you message me, please include more than one word. I've gotten messaages that just say "Hi" and some that are just smiley emoticons. I can't really take that as a conversation starter. It's more like something you say to someone as you're just passing by them.
