My self-summary
I have no shirtless iPhone photos in the bathroom mirror, so I'm cooler than, at least, 50% of guys here.

I'm sarcastic, talkative, and have a dry sense of humor. I am pretty much the same person at all times, whether at work or out with friends. I don't take life too seriously - I make fun of a lot of things, including myself (and this website). Frankly, I don't know why I'm on this website. But, you probably don't either, ha.

Anyway, I’m hardworking and have my own law practice. This means I wear flip flops to work most days and can leave for happy hour on a whim, but also wear a suit, go to court, and work till 1:00 a.m. on other days.

I go out a lot, and my friends (those in relationships and single) still know how to enjoy all San Diego has to offer. I also know when it's time to relax and distress, whether by exercising, laying on the beach, or chilling at home updating my OkCupid profile. Kidding.

I call my parents several times a week (they've been married 40 years), still speak with good high school friends regularly (they're all on the east coast), and I’m pretty much content doing anything with good friends. I'm fortunate to have an amazing group of friends in San Diego, which makes living in this paradise even better. I’m honest, sensitive, and give good advice where I can. While I’m understanding, I am also blunt and straightforward.

I am originally from Maryland. I moved out to San Diego 8 years ago for law school, after spending 4 years at Boston College. My best friend and roommate at college was from Laguna Beach - once I came out to visit him, I was sold on Southern California. I will never move, but I love to travel (just like everyone else online).
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an attorney and have my own practice downtown. Law's stressful, but I love the challenge. With my own business, I've come to really respect entrepreneurs and small business owners.

I just bought a condo in Del Mar, so that's been kind of exciting. Renovating is pain, but fun. Since I work downtown and find myself either going out downtown or north county, so I thought I would take a chance and buy a place up there. I think I'll love it -- definitely great beaches and restaurants.
I’m really good at
Writing, expressing my opinions, reading people, driving, sleeping / napping, guitar, and online dating (kidding).
The first things people usually notice about me
Blue eyes maybe. Some people say I look like Orlando Bloom or Matthew Perry.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I like books about the Universe, etc. My favorite shows are Games of Thrones and Shark Tank. Bands: Metallica, Tool, Guns n Roses. Food: Lobster, crabcakes, ribeyes, cheeseburgers.
The six things I could never do without
Family.
Friends.
Sleeping.
Showers.
iPhone.
Coffee.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Current happenings of friends and family.
My job.
Current events.
Music.
On a typical Friday night I am
Going to happy hour after work, then either going out with some friends for dinner and drinks, or (if totally exhausted) relaxing at home or a friend's house with a few drinks, and maybe a movie.

You're intelligent, sarcastic, fun, and cute -- a professional during weekdays, who knows knows the balance between taking it easy and going out on weekends. Also, and no offense, but if you're a communist, hippie from OB, hipster from North Park, and/or believe the Earth was created in 7 days or that you can speak to a man in the sky, we're probably not a good match.

Oh, and please know the difference between: (1) your and you're; (2) too, two, and to; (3) their, they're, and there; (4) its and it's; (5) except and accept; and (6) than and then. Poor grammar drives me nuts.

Ok, fine -- I'm picky, but I won't settle.
