What I’m doing with my life
Right now? Watching 'Night Of Too Many Stars' and filling out this profile. In general? Working, spending time with family, looking for someone to have dinner with/hang with/have adventures with. I've been single for the past couple years, and it was fun, but I'm ready for something new.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, cracking myself up. Long conversations, comfortable silences. Occasional drunken stupidity.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no idea but I'd be interested to find out.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Hmm, Anything Steven Pressfield, but Gates of Fire is my favorite. I love anything John Sandford, my favorite author has to be Lee Child, Tana French is great too (just found out about her a few weeks ago). Of course if you like crime/thriller stuff you have to mention Stieg Larssen. I've read the first two and liked them, the third is waiting on my bookshelf, hopefully I'll get to it before the third movie comes out. Oh, and I'm really looking forward to the new Dennis Lehane, all his stuff is great, especially Darkness Take My Hand. Michael Connolly is awesome too. And Steve Berry.

Movies: I like more drama oriented stuff than comedies. Usual Suspects, Training Day, Sweet Smell of Success, 300, The Godfather, The Prestige, V for Vendetta, The Professional, Batman Begins, Witness for the Prosecution, Inside Man...I could go on all day.

Music: Currently I listen to mostly Hip-Hop/ R&B -- Kanye, Jay-z, Drake, Alicia Keys, John Legend, etc. I do like the Dead Weather, The Fratellis & The Heavy. Love 90's rap and rock, love Led Zeppelin.
The six things I could never do without
My I-Pod

The Daily Show

MTV's The Real World

A Computer

A Good Book (Preferably long and one I haven't read)

My Sister's Kids (If you aren't allowed to group stuff then my sister's kids and a good book. Or 4 of them chosen at random and a good book and my I-Pod).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
God/Religion/Spirituality if you asked me a few months ago. It takes a long time to go from a lifelong Catholic to an Atheist. Years, even. Now that I have that settled its the usual day to day thoughts and concerns mixed with thoughts on self-improvement.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually at home, since I work early on Saturdays. A good book or random leftovers on the DVR usually keep me company. Saturday is definitely my Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was going to put something really sappy, but instead I'll admit my incurable love of comic books. One of my favorite weekends of the year is the annual NY Comic Con. Get me comfortable enough (or drunk enough) and I'll probably tell you the really sappy thing.
