My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a lighthearted, funny guy. I don’t take myself too seriously, but I do know when humor is inappropriate. I pride myself on being a good-hearted, caring person. I’m looking for someone who can appreciate and relate to these qualities.

When it comes to relationships, I enjoy sharing similar interests, but I also like trying new things. And, I wouldn’t mind feeling as though I’m challenging someone to think outside of the box, or try something new and exciting, as well. I think that is how two people grow and learn together, thus…become closer. One thing to note is that I'm not looking to engage in endless emails/texts prior to meeting. Obviously some email/text exchanges prior to meeting are key, but I really feel the best way to truly see if you click is to meet and talk in person.

I’m not Conservative whatsoever, so I wouldn’t mesh well with someone who is. I enjoy music and art, so a woman who feels the same would be a woman I’d love to meet and get to know. History and Politics are other interests of mine. TV shows I enjoy are The Daily Show, Colbert Report, Real Time with Bill Maher, and South Park. I love going to NYC and LBI, as well as Winter getaways to the Caribbean. I love traveling in general and would like to start hitting Europe in the next few years.

I have an outgoing nature, so I find strong, confident women attractive. Beyond physical attraction, which is important, for sure – I mostly value a ‘cuteness’ – to me, that’s a sense of humor, ease, confidence and a bit of quirkiness. A positive personality is very important, as is a feeling of connection and chemistry. I'd like my eventual partner to be my best friend, in every sense of the word. And I look forward to seeing where we can go from there.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite book is The Painted Bird. I read mostly technical books relating to my field at this point. Favorite TV shows enjoy are The Daily Show, Colbert Report, Real Time with Bill Maher, and South Park. I absolutely loved The Wire, which I consider one of the best TV series ever. I absolutely loved Silver Linings Playbook. Other favorite movies are Annie Hall, The Big Lebowski, Manhattan, Everything Is Illuminated, Being There, Garden State, The Darjeeling Limited, Donnie Darko, Clerks, The Princess Bride, It's A Wonderful Life, Shaun of the Dead, Office Space, and The Shawshank Redemption. I'm a really big Woody Allen fan and so really enjoy most of his work. As far as music is concerned I enjoy live music with a particular fondness for Phish, The Grateful Dead, Furthur, m.o.e., Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, King Yellowman, and Neil Young. Favorite meal is surf and turf, but I'm half Italian and so love Italian food by default. I love fine dining in general, but also like good simple food like Chinese, pizza, wings, cheese steaks, etc. I'm also a big craft beer enthusiast.
