The sparknotes on me:
1. I'm pretty self-sufficient:
-I cook, clean, do my own laundry and grocery shopping.
-I'm not looking for someone to take care of me, I'm looking for someone who can take care of their self. The dream is to have someone who can turn the every day drudgery of chores into the occasional laugh.
2. Home Sweet Home
-I'm perfectly comfortable spending time at home. Just like a lot of people on here I can get swallowed up by a Netflix frenzy BUT I also need to get out.
-Getting out doesn't necessarily mean going to a bar. But I like to spend time with friends, and I like to be active - even if it's just an hour playing tennis or throwing around a baseball with one of my friends (I have close guy and girl friends).
3. I'm a singer-songwriter hobbyist
-I've long since given up the high school dream of being a rock-star but I still have fun picking up a guitar.
-I'm not that goofy camp fire guy who only knows "Wonderwall" by Oasis. I hate it when those guys make us look bad. haha
4. I will spend a significant amount of time in the Library
-At least for the next 2 years. It won't be all the time, but surrounding a major assignment or a final exam it's the only place you will find me. I'm looking for someone who can understand that and realize that when it's all over, I'll be dying to make up for lost time.
5. What I'm looking for.
-Honestly, this can be a loaded question. I can't say that I'm looking for one thing. It really depends on the dynamic of the person I am with.
-In my experience, I have met women who are great companions short-term. I have met others who make great friends, and then there's the one you meet that you don't want to put a deadline on. Obviously end game is the last one but I'm totally open to meeting everyone in the process. I don't think it's fair to put out the expectation that every relationship needs to be for the long-term. I don't think that's something that can be determined right away.
Obviously there's more to learn but hopefully that's enough to decide whether you want to click on the "send a message" button.
