I had my first computer since I was about 3, I enjoy playing video and computer games an awful lot, and reading. I used to read a lot more than I do, but I still read a fair bit. I enjoy science fiction and fantasy for the most part.
I also enjoy anime, British comedy panel shows, anything to do with learning how the universe works, and a few American cartoons.
I run tabletop games. These are like Dungeons and Dragons, (I run that as well) but it goes much farther than that. I've even designed my own tabletop role playing games based on things me and my friends enjoy.
I go to conventions, as a matter of fact I LOVE going to conventions. It usually doesn't matter what the theme of the con is, I'm fairly open minded about hobbies and entertainment. Even when there's a more serious topic the con is focused on I enjoy going, so long as I am familiar with the subject.
I have an absurd infatuation with science, predominantly physics. I find myself in discussions about theoretical physics frequently.
About the only thing that's moves me away from being a traditional nerd is despite the fact that I am a bit socially awkward I seem to have acquired a decent number of friends that I hang out with on a relatively regular basis. But they're nerds too, so I guess that negates that bit of normality.
