I'm a sports fan but more of a science nerd, ukulele and guitar strummer, connoisseur of all things coffee, sushi aficionado, cat-accepter/dog-lover, and a good-smelling person. And I can lift heavy things.

To avoid the cleverly-placed revelation -- I want to say that I am happily married. We have an open relationship, and therefore we/I/she date others, single and not, and it works well for us...

I've been in Philly my whole life, and now live just on the outside of it. Fortunately for me, Center City is much easier for me to get to now that I'm on the outside.

There was a time, before medical texts occupied all of my time, that I was interested in Buddhism. It's always been an interest, and hopefully I'll be able to pursue it further now that work is calming down. We'll see...

Juicing vegetables. I don't eat them in non-juiced form.

Playing Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Pink Floyd, and Dropkick Murphys on the ukulele. Yup, that's right.

That I meticulously pick all of the onions out of my food.

Movies: Anything Wes Anderson, anything Rob Zombie

TV: No Reservations/The Layover, Walking Dead, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Chopped, South Park, and The Universe (on the History Channel). I guess you can throw in Big Bang Theory...I can't deny those science jokes.

Music: Too much to list...the Beatles, Oasis, Libertines, the Fratellis, Amy Winehouse, the Coral, David Bowie, the Kinks, the Who, Arctic Monkeys. I like the Brits, apparently.

Food: Sushi and anything without onions. I'll accept shallots, but you won't get any closer to an onion than that. I'm sorry, but it's just not happening.
