Well my name is Josh. I'm a bit of a geek and a movie buff. I absolutely love movies. Don't really have a favorite genre though, but could go on for hours about my favorites. I'm the guy who tries to get his friends to watch whatever obscure film he's watching, which right now is Let The Right One In. It's a Swedish vampire movie and it's eerily great.
I love books and comics, and I would appreciate any recommendations.

I'm also a gamer. I'd say my favorite types of games are rpg's. I know it's really geeky but I can't get enough of them. . I'm currently playing Mass Effect 2.

I have a small and tight knit group of friends and on the rare occasion we're all free, we really like going out to a bar or club. A lot of the time though we just sort of hang out and act silly and talk about any random geeky thing that comes to mind. They're pretty much my family and I'd do just about anything for those guys.

I'm also a little bit of a gym rat, it's like a second home.

Mostly working, I'm a Quality Assurance Inspector for a rental tool company. It's not the greatest job ever but I enjoy it. I'm satisfied with where my life is right now and where it is going.

I get told I'm a good listener a lot. I also have a tremendous memory, I always seem to remember the small things that most people forget.
I'm a pretty decent cook as well.

A s for as books I'll read anything once. Some of my faves are The Lord Of The Rings, The Idiot, Alice In Wonderland, The Brief Wondrous Life Of Oscar Wao, Shopgirl, and The Pleasure Of My Company
I'm a poetry fan as well my favorites are: T.S. Eliot, Edgar Allen Poe, and Emily Dickinson. I'm looking to get into more modern poetry right now.
I also like comics, my favorites are: The Dark Knight Returns, Batman Year One, The Killing Joke, Watchmen, and Batman Arkham Asylum. Yeah I'm kind of a big Batman fan. I also just started reading Sandman by Neil Gaiman and I love it.

When it comes to movies I guess I'm not a typical guy, I'm the only guy I know that didn't like either Transformers film. I really enjoy a good musical and a good horror film. Some of my favorite films are: LOTR Trilogy, any Tarantino movie, Eastern Promises, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Almost any Tim Burton film, Deep Red, Suspiria, any Guillermo Del Toro film, The Children Of Men, Let The Right One In, any Hayao Miyazaki film, Grave Of The Fireflies, Perfect Blue, Star Wars, The Dark Knight, and a hell of a lot more

I don't watch a whole lot of t.v. usually get my fix on the internet, but my favorites are: The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Star Trek :TNG Cowboy Bebop, Gundam Wing, The Office, Trigun, Pushing Daisies, Dexter, Dead Like Me, and almost anything on Adult Swim.

I listen to just about any genre of music, but I must admit to a soft spot for metal. My favorite artists are: Audioslave, B.B. King, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, The Clash, Tool, Weezer, The White Stripes, Black Sabbath, Pantera, John Legend, Jay-Z, Incubus, Kings Of Leon, Nine Inch Nails, Puscifer, SOAD, Scars On Broadway, U2, Slipknot, Rage Against The Mahcine, Pearl Jam, Zeppelin, Iron and Wine, and Green Day to name a few.

When it comes to food I'm Cajun at heart, so my favorite food is gumbo. I recently started eating sushi and would like to get a bit more adventurous with my choices.

My friends, they're my family and if I'm ever down I know I can count on them to pick me up.
My Ipod, because without it I would be stuck listening to the shitty radio stations around here.
Books, they're my escape, when I get caught up in a great book I lose myself in that world and sometimes it's good to just get lost like that.
Pen and paper, I don't write a lot but when I do it's usually a much needed release.
Hmm. Thats all I can think of right now.

Life and where I'm going in it. I 'm always looking for that silver lining even in the bleakest of circumstances.
I also can't seem to figure out why so many people choose to impede progress in this country, if you don't agree with the way someone lives, fine. Just don't take away their civil rights cause you somehow believe they lead an immoral life.
