My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I live in NoYa (that's North Yarmouth, for those of you not in the know...and no, that's not Yarmouth. They're different, ok?) I recently made a job change to have more time for things outside of work, so I've been exploring the world of fermented things (sauerkraut, kombucha, want to make beer...), traveling, spending time with friends and family, and watching more TV and movies. I used to work so much that I couldn't talk to people about TV shows. Now I can!

Other things...I hiked 180 miles of the Appalachian Trail last summer, and recently spent time on a farm. I also recently went to Rwanda. Kind of life-changing, though haven't yet wrapped my mind around it. I just procured my father's ice boat (how about a first date going 100 miles an hour on an icy pond?). I'm a devoted aunt, I play ultimate frisbee (more jock than hippy), and love to garden, have dance parties, read books, and drink coffee. Mmmmm...coffee.

I'm looking for a serious relationship that includes love, fun, warmth, funny times, commitment and...more? I'm (by the way) open to people that already have kids, as there seem to be lots of you out there.

Also, I still miss Philip Seymour Hoffman.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
For work, I'm an educational consultant--supporting teachers, schools, and districts to better serve low-income kids. Other than work, I like to be with family and friends, go on fun dates with you, play and run around, cut wood with my maul, work on a close-by farm (I helped castrate a pig the other day), hike and run in the woods, and explore fun places in Portland I haven't been yet.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
rowing boats, middle school math, baking pies, making costumes out of stuff in my basement, helping teachers get better, and following through with a plan.
The first things people usually notice about me

I'm super blonde, and pretty enthusiastic.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
trees, school reform, amazing friends and family, running, stupid jokes, kale
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I guess I think a lot about where my most recent life changes are going to take me. I also think about where my keys are. And when I will be in the woods next. And I sometimes think about school reform or my new hot blue leather jacket. Ok, it's pleather (I shouldn't lie).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
working on a project with my roomies, watching a movie, going to bed early, cooking dinner for friends, going to SPACE, or if I can rally my friends, going out dancing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
