I think I have a Larry David-esque aloof charm, if such a thing even exists. I don't take myself seriously, at all, and I'm not looking for someone who does. Comedy/jokes/goofs/spoofs are what get me through the week. I've got hilarious friends, and I can hold my own with them. If you can withstand a barrage of puns and have a dry sense of humor, we'll probably get along famously.

Right now, I'm working down in West Greenwich, RI. My job has me traveling internationally a lot which I'm really into for the time being. Highlights so far - Ireland, Denmark, Singapore, Spain, Chile (incl. Easter Island side trip - YES!), Finland, Latvia, Israel, Peru, Colombia, and Germany. But it's also nice because I'm not totally on the road or anything. For the better part of the year, I'm local.

I'm always looking for new experiences, be them in Providence, Boston, NYC, or elsewhere in the world. I love trying new foods and getting to concerts. I've seen some of my favorite bands at international shows, which is really a cool experience.

consciously making terrible jokes/puns. My favorite comedian right now is Norm Macdonald - if you've ever seen his roast of Bob Saget, that's pretty much my sense of humor.

Books - I like DFW, Thomas Pynchon, Bill Bryson, and JD Salinger the most, plus whatever other random authors I find out about. Currently somewhat simultaneously reading The Innocents Abroad, The Savage Detectives, Both Flesh and Not, & Guns, Germs, and Steel. Massive and growing book queue sitting in my room.

Movies - not as much a movie person these days, but I still try to keep an eye on what's getting good reviews. Typically won't miss what the Coens, P.T. Anderson, Wes Anderson, Aronofsky, and Tarantino put out.

Shows - currently shows I'm into include Breaking Bad, Louie, Girls, Treme, Enlightened, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Happy Endings, The Office, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Game of Thrones, Portlandia, Community, & Childrens Hospital. Even though I don't watch it anymore, The Simpsons will probably always be my favorite.

Music - a shitload. I have a pretty diverse library, for whatever that's worth.

Food - I'll try most things at least once, and I am always up for different types of cuisine. Most recent 'holy shit' food moment involved sabbich.
