I am witty, sarcastic, and probably buzzed.

My Self-Summary

Not sure what to say here, as apparently a vague or unimaginative self-description is grounds for deletion; I guess just letting my personality speak for itself is not an option. Soooo, let's see. I live in Philadelphia, which I really like, and I'm always trying to find new bars/restaurants..fortunately, there's no shortage here. I consider myself a travel "enthusiast", even though I lack both the money and the free time to indulge that enthusiasm to any great extent. What else? Um...I have been told that I have a very good sense of humor, I'm extremely sarcastic, self-deprecating, and sometimes cynical. I probably drink a little too often, I have a weakness for scotch, I am proud of my iTunes playlist, I am highly judgmental of others' iTunes playlists (and bookcases), and I love dogs (but despise small children, so I'm not trying to ingratiate myself to the ladies with that one). I dunno, just find out for yourself.

What I’m doing with my life

That's actually a great question. For now, I am just in a bit of a holding pattern. I took some youthful risks and pursued my "dreams" right after graduating college, and came to the startling realization that things like a steady paycheck, benefits, stability/security, and an actual long-term plan are somewhat important. So I swallowed my pride and sold out, and now I'm an uninteresting member of the corporate workforce. So what is the long-term plan that I've come up with, you ask? I'm not entirely sure, but it involves grad school within the next year. Apart from that heavy stuff, I am trying to have as much fun as possible.

I’m really good at

Making people laugh, writing, talking to new people, foreign languages, stuffing my face

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes, my dimples, my horrifyingly pale skin, my...shoes? I dunno.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Morrissey and cheeseburgers: the cornerstones of any fulfilling life.

The six things I could never do without

Good beer
Good food
City life
Wifi
My iPod
My favorite pair of jeans

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The starving children in Africa. And cheeseburgers.

On a typical Friday night I am

Out drinking and making the awful decision to eat greasy food right before bedtime.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I spend way too much time and money on manscaping. That's not very scandalous, I guess. Ask me in private, and I'll tell ya.

You should message me if

You're interested in talking to me? I have run out of anything clever to say here.
