Hey there.
I decided to sign up with cupid to give myself an opportunity to meet someone. Friend, relationship, and confidant. I have lived in the augusta area pretty much my whole life with the exception of the times we moved because of my father being in the military. I enjoy the outdoors and love going to the movies and dining out.
I often tell my daughter that the way to overcome shyness is to become so wrapped up in something that you forget to be afraid. I guess i should take my own advice. Yes i admit that i am pretty shy at first, but open up after i get to know a person. I guess i have always been the shy one in the family. I have 3 brothers who have always been very protective of me. I have to remind them sometimes that i am all grown up now. Its still a good feeling to know that they always have my best interest at heart. Family is everything to me and i cherish the one that god has blessed me with.
I consider myself to be very passionate and love to be the giver in a relationship. Just the mother in me i guess.

I am loyal, honest, and caring

I am a single mom of a college student. She is currently in her last year at Ga. Southern University. I haven't dated a whole lot because raising her alone didn't really give me the chance to have time for myself,but now I do.
I am a service manager for a restaurnt here and really enjoy it alot.
I would really love to travel again someday. I saw a lot of Europe as a kid but would really like to go back again.

I am really good at being a leader due to the fact that I have to do that everyday at work. Managing young people is a challenge, but is great because they always come to me when they need advice. I am a great listener.
I often give advice on parenting. People often tell me that i have done a great job raising my daughter. It makes me feel good to know that i accomplished this on my own, but in actuality i really didn't. The support that i was given from family and friends made doing it alone for the past 10 years after my divorce a smooth transition. I have to remember that i can't let the past dictate who i am but let it be a part of who i become.

I would probably say my eyes. They are brown, and I think sometimes brown is boring , but people always compliment them.

I finished reading The Purpose Driven Life and found it to be very rewarding. I love Tom Cruise movies. My favorite of his was A Few Good Men. I have probably watched it 20 times if not more. I love italian food and going to the best steak houses in town.

talking to my daughter daily, T.V. (love the news), my car, air conditioning, ( we are in the south), my phone and my computer.

I spend alot of time thinking about the economy and state of our country right now. I think about all the families who have loved ones oversees.
I think about how nice it would be for me to find that special someone to share my life with. I really am looking forward to being in a relationship again and i know that when the time is right that god will bring that person into my life.

I am ususally at work. I work second shift most of the time.

That being a single mother was harder than I let people think that it was.
