I am a teacher who doesn't take herself too seriously. I am tall, so if you can't handle a woman with some height, might want to keep on looking. I work with middle school students, and I think that I am actually 13 inside...I mean, what 26 year old woman thinks of the "That's what she said" joke almost immediately.

I don't have a ton of spare time as I coach 2 of the 3 sports seasons but when I do have some time off, I try to get out and do different things around Charlotte. I can be happy doing almost anything...from staying in for the evening to going out dancing uptown to hitting up Discovery Place on the weekend. I volunteer in the community and enjoy spending time with my family.

Mostly, I think I'm an oxymoron...I don't think I'm the stereotypical anything. Yes, I'm southern but I don't fit many of those generalities. I'm not religious but I have strong moral fiber. I'm a strong, opinionated woman but I coach cheerleading and I was a debutante too! I can be horribly goofy but I'm serious and sincere about doing what's best for my students.

I'm a middle school science teacher and I absolutely love my job. I never thought I would be a teacher and I don't know if I will be a classroom teacher forever but for now, I feel so lucky to have a job where I actually smile on my way to work and laugh almost every day.

Food...sushi, indian food, burritos, I'm not your typical steak and potatoes kind of girl.

Music...I would say that I have eclectic taste but I don't think it's nearly as eclectic as I'd like it to be. I do listen to the top 40 but I can enjoy nearly anything. I'm not a big country fan but anything that I can sing along to is great for me!

Movies...now here is where my taste varies greatly! I like your chick flicks as much as the next girl but I also like a good gross-out movie. I think I am one of the only women I know who actually owns the Clerks movies as well as Superbad. I also like a good horror flick. I definitely get scared but for some reason, it fascinates me how people can think of these depraved plots! I don't like to watch them alone, though :)

Books...again varied...I am always reading multiple books at one time. I like historical fiction, some non-fiction, I also read at least one young adult book to keep up with my kiddos and I even like a good cheesy romance at times too.

others - I will admit to being someone who doesn't think about themselves enough. I typically put other people first - I think it comes with the job but I'm working on it!

hanging out with the girls - this could be dinner and a movie, drinks and/or dancing uptown (less frequently in the recent months), and conversation, or just hanging out chez moi.

I think a great personality is WAY sexier than a great body. Good conversation and great kissing will get you far with me!
