My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm not originally from San Diego, but I live here now. I'm kind of a nerd, but I try not to be a pretentious one. I'm introverted, but enjoy interaction with people I'm comfortable around. Sometimes I struggle to avoid getting frustrated with the iniquities of existence. I got really excited one time when I was in high school because I thought I saw a UFO, but it was just a lightning bug. Now I think the possibility of seeing a pop-culture style UFO is so remote that I'd be more likely to mistake an actual UFO for a lightning bug.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Traveling through space-time. Mostly time. At the speed of light. I'm fast.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I wish I had never learned about the Dunning Kruger effect, because now I'm paranoid that I'm obliviously horrible at everything.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am opaque to light.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Vonnegut, David Sedaris, Neil Gaiman for fiction and pretty much any well-written nonfiction...

Movies: I like film noir, foreign films, and '70s movies quite a bit, and most any movie that doesn't seem like it was made for the lowest common denominator of human life...

Shows: TV is mostly lame, unfortunately...

Music: Long, intermittently loud, interesting songs that never get played on the radio because they require an attention span...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I dunno. Gravity? The weak and strong nuclear forces? I really enjoy water, especially when I'm thirsty.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Opposing mirrors, Slinkies, Rubik's Cubes, why people are so insane, etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Happy it's not Sunday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I take fortune cookies VERY seriously.
