I am lightly battered, crispy, and good with ketchup.

My Self-Summary

I'm a 24 year old civil engineer. I have a lot of trouble filling out inane questionnaires apparently. I can see humor in just about everything, probably to a fault on occasion. I get very excited over things like pumpkin pie and new socks. I'm a pretty independent and self-sufficient person. Apparently I can also be very redundant.

Unlike most people on this site, I LOVE drama, fake people, creepy old men, and liars. I also hate laughing and I'm definitely not down to earth. Also, I detest having a good time.

What I’m doing with my life

Pretty much doin the civil engineer thing until i get my own reality show or some long forgotten relative dies and leaves me their fortune

I’m really good at

Critical thinking... oh god this answer started off in the most boring way possible. I fancy myself a pretty good cook I guess. I think I'm a great and creative idea generator for other people's problems/projects/etc. I seem to be terrible at it when I need to do it for myself though.

The first things people usually notice about me

People? I have no idea. Dogs seem to have the impression that i'm very likely to have treats for them.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: All time favorite list would look something like: East of Eden, The Possessed, The Once and Future King, The Fountainhead, Lonesome Dove, 100 Years of Solitude, Watership down

Movies: Network, Amelie, Once upon a Time in the West, pretty much anything by Kubrick or Bergman and pretentious stuff like that. My netflix queue is entirely out of control. The best recent movie I have seen is Let the Right One In.

Music: 70's Prog and Classic Rock, Psych, Post-Rock, some folksy Nick Drakeish stuff every now and again

TV: Dexter, The Wire, Arrested Development

Food: I more or less love anything that doesn't trigger my gag reflex; i.e. snails and worms and the like. Are microbrews a food?

The six things I could never do without

Gonna skip the obvious stuff like sleeping, eating, arms, legs, eyeballs I suppose.

1. The knowledge that somewhere out there is a mustache more magnificent than Tom Selleck's
2. Seriously i have no idea. I guess I'm pretty damn adaptable.
3. This would have been way easier without the "never," so...

6 things I could definitely do without:

1. Rosemary. Seriously, who likes this vile herb?
2. Snow that falls on pavement. Snow is awesome but I'd love to make a deal with nature so that it only fell on grass and trees. Onto rocks, sand, and into water would also be acceptable.
3. Margarine. We were doing fine with just butter i think.
4. People that do things LOUDLY that do not need to be done loudly. Examples: chewing, typing, drinking... the guy next to me at work clicks his mouse so loudly that there's no way he's not trying to piss off everyone in his vicinity.
5. Lists that go all the way to 6. I believe we've had enough.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How much i want to retire.

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging out with friends

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

No idea how to respond to this one. I've already shared my disdain for rosemary.

You should message me if

You also had a ton of trouble filling this crap out
