My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm really, really awkward about compliments and don't know how to respond to them; it'll be easier for us both if you just don't. Please.

I'm not looking for a relationship/any sort of dating, but I'd love to meet and talk to some interesting people and make some new friends... so don't be weirded out if I like your profile or something, it means I think you're interesting and I'd like to talk! I'd love to get to know people from all kinds of backgrounds, walks of life, and locations.

Feel free to shoot me a message and I'll try to respond ASAP, although I don't get on much. :)

I am a social vegetarian.. that is, I avoid 'meet'. I am so socially impaired when I first meet someone it isn't even funny. I am fine once I get to know someone though. I occasionally like to make horrible puns... It is a price (PUNishment?) you must be willing to pay to be friends with me.

This is mostly the reason I'm on here; talking to people online is so low pressure compared to in person interaction and also it can be hard to really have a diverse group of friends if you're limited to the people around you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently attending at a university in Maryland, but I was born and raised in SoCal. Currently on a pre-med track studying Molecular and Cellular Biology.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making lists. I love making lists.
I draw portraits of people. I've been told I'm rather good at this, however, I personally always like everyone else's art better than my own. I do do commissions from time to time.
I play the piano and violin both mediocrely well, though I think I am better at the violin.
I focus a lot on school. I am very artsy and love the humanities, but I am technically studying the sciences.
I also dabble in writing. I scribble from poetry to songs to novels. One of my dreams is to complete and illustrate the novel I am currently working on and publish it.
I also run and do martial arts amongst other random various things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't think people notice me... Maybe... I'm pretty short and pretty quiet.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Lord of the Rings (and the Hobbit) is probably tied with Artemis Fowl for my favorite book/book series although I do love so many that it's a hard pick. I love Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow as well as the Hunger Games. The Great Gatsby. I love Sir Conan Doyle, Edgar Allen Poe, and Emily Dickinson's works as well.

As far as shows go, I love Psych, Sherlock, Grimm, Chuck (R.I.P), Criminal Minds, New Girl, Game of Thrones, Lie to Me, Fringe, Hannibal, and Once Upon a Time. And White Collar. And Parks and Rec is basically the best thing ever.

I like music in general, including playing it. I really don't stick to one genre.

Food is awesome. I love food. If there was a dating site for food, I would be on that site instead.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I cannot condense my life into six things. No.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
A little bit of everything and nothing mixed together sporadically.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing homework, actually, cross that, procrastinating on homework while binging on whatever tv show or book I am currently possessed by.

Recently I've started playing League --don't judge me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A not private thing I'm willing to admit is that I find great entertainment in looking for people who live in the area who go to my school and trying to see if I recognize them because it simultaneously horrifies and amuses me that I might find someone on the internet that lives a few doors down my dorm without them ever knowing.
