Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I largely believe in the theory that "If you're not laughing
histerically for at least 15 minutes a day, something's horribly
When I was in high school, they asked us where we see ourselves in
ten years time. I said Giants Stadium in front of 80,000 people.
Sure enough that never came to be, but at least I gave it a
These days I spend more time thinking about innovation, growth, and
entrepreneurship than rock n' roll stardom, but give me a guitar,
and I can entertain you at least for about 3 minutes,
I hail from the Europes (yes all three of them) but grew up in New
York. Post college I started country hopping, and until 2010 was
largely expatriated. Sometimes miss the travel, but def love being
back in 'Murica, and especially back home in NYC.
I think that stupid repetition has the potential to be absolutely
hilarious (I think I saw that "Zombie kid, I like turtles" video
like a 1000 times. Even makes me giggle now).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Building companies, writing, and travelling when I can. Making
stories, telling memories, no memoirs.
Most recently started this with some folks http://exversion.com
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Aggressively power chilling!
Doing the "Human Gallop"
Putting googly eyes on things.
Contemplating the state of the universe.
Getting excited about things.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That by 'Murican standards I have a funky name.

Reading: Killing Williamsburg is what I'm working through now and
is also a shameless promo for a friend's book. Think that Saramago
is brilliant. Garcia-Marquez, siempre en el v.o. Try and read The
Economist and Foreign Affairs when I can, as well as Wired and A
More Intelligent Life. I don't have much time for reading but when
I do, I prefer something cerebral. Braaaaains!
Shows: Dog and pony, definitely, dog and pony; but anything funny.
i.e. Archer, Parks n' Rec, It's Always Sunny, + the HBO &
Showtime ones. W/ movies, I'm more a watch it once type of person,
no real faves per se.
Music: More recently, Jazz (i.e. Allen Toussaint), brass (i.e.
Rebirth), synths (i.e. Royskopp), house (i.e. Deadmou5), pop indy
electro-rock (i.e. Lykke Li).
Food: Saturated fats, sometimes, super-saturated. And loads of
fresh fruits and veggies. Btw, I think vegans are annoying.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Coffee, Sun, Music, Fam, Friends, Laughs
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The centrally serious business of life, and how I can get to Tierra
del Fuego in a yellow cab, or how to fernagle a year in Polynesia
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
In all likelihood relaxing at home, prefer Saturdays. But if I am
out, it's with friends and there are most definitely laughs.
