I might need some help in the way of outside opinion here.

Regrouping and decompressing. Last year, I had a "come to Jesus" moment. After a series of mini-strokes, I realized that I had completely wasted the past 10 years doting on someone who didn't appreciate honesty, integrity, and above all loyalty, so I decided to put a last ditch effort to find a woman who respects these values, and appreciates them in a mate.
I'm not looking for a 20 y/o "Barbie" doll, just a real woman who knows the meaning of reciprocity in a relationship. Someone who has been there (out on the edge and back) someone to treasure me as much as I would treasure her!
I'm not a drinker, I'm fine with it if you do, it just isn't for me.
At this point, I'm OK with spending the rest of this affair just me and my dog, but it would REALLY be nice to experience that which I have sought but never found. Are you really out there somewhere waiting?

At the risk of arrogance, I strive to be the best I can be at what ever I undertake. At the moment (and for the foreseeable future), its Organic Gardening, and avid activism for Marijuana Legalization. I am also fascinated by early civilizations. Most specifically Sumer, Akkad, and pre-colombian cultures.
Rocket Science! Yes, thats a real rocket in my pics. I built it from scratch (motor and propellant too) and it was on the Discovery channel for it's first launch.

I'm short. (and OK with it!!).

Books...Hmmm, my taste is pretty wide. As of now, My new fav author is Vince Flynn (I LOVED "Term Limits") Currently I am reading the Nag Hammadi, The books of Enoch and the Gospel of Mary. I also love most adventure, from Clive Cussler, Tom Clancy, and others. Fantasy is good too! Tolkien was a genius as was CS Lewis. Zechariah Sitchin, Von Daniken. Kipling, and Beatrice Potter are literary greats as well!!
Movies: anything Pixar or Dreamworks, Crash is one of my recent favorites. I just watched "Ted" and almost peed myself laughing!
Music: again, VERY eclectic. Anything from Andrew Lloyd Weber to Tool. Jazz, Alternative Rock, Zydeco, Classical, and recently I've developed a taste for Robert Johnsons guitar playing (He cant sing but then, neither could Bob Zimmerman) but as a general rule I'm pretty much a "head-banger".
