Clean, organized, and a GENTLEMAN with manners, etiquette, & propriety. After the war (didn't mind gettin' shot at, just the thought of gettin' hit that bothered me), was a saddle tramp, pirate, bootlegger. and rounder, lucky to be alive. I have rode a crooked road. Possess archaic skills. Am now a sedate, old, fat man :-). Still young for my age. An experienced traveler. Enjoy yard sailing. "Far Side" sense of humour.
Much like the Cat, very aware with the same empathy. Cats have proven to be the best friends (because I can open a can, keep the potty box fresh and the water station clean and full).
My friends are all skilled craftsmen/artisans. Entrepreneurs, employed, or retired. We are like a tribe of scattered gypsies who gather variously on occasion. We enjoy meeting around a fire at camp to eat, drink, and be merry, sing and tell true lies.
We start out life liking everything. It's finding what we don't like that's the hard part. We may all be fools.
A relic from the past, adapting to the present.
I enjoy history and often visit the site "eyewitnesstohistory.com". I also enjoy philosophy, physics, and cosmology.
I have come to realize that some of these adds are bogus after a few messages and the internet is the new "high seas" so pirates take notice: I think with the head on my shoulders, not the one between my legs! Seek booty elsewhere.
Never let the barmaid see your hand, she might be the friend of a gamblin' man.
I have come with the dust, and gone with the wind. I need a miracle every day. I have "walked through the halls of Karma to shake hands with both the Devil and God".
I am a road man, very self reliant. I don't believe in heaven, but do believe in ghosts. My heroes have always been cowboys. I am early to bed, early to rise, hand wash my dishes, and mop my kitchen/bathroom floors on my hands and knees. Try to keep my phasers set on "stun".Just roll me up and smoke me when I die. Reckon I would give this singles site a shot because "To succeed in life, you need two things: ignorance and confidence."...Mark Twain
