My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
We're a potentially poly-couple. We've lived in our monogamous bubble for decades and we're very happy with our lives. It's not that there's anything missing, it's just that we want more of what we already have. We're not looking for new sex partners, we're looking for life-long companions. We're definitely love before sex people. I'm straight, but I feel a real lack of close male friends. She's maybe a little bi? We're loyal, smart, funny, and have a lot to offer to people who can return the same. You'd get two great people for the price of one. How could you lose?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work to live, not live to work. I'm successful and good at what I do, but after 35 years I'm ready for new challenges. I'm an amateur writer and I'm a runner who understands that going to the gym is required to support any lifestyle.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am a really good listener. I understand that much of the time people don't tell you their problems because they want your advice on how to fix them. They tell you their problems because they simply want to be heard.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know. You will have to tell me. No one has ever said, "Hey, the first thing I noticed about you was...." It's kind of a silly question, isn't it?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I'm a slow reader with good retention, so mostly I read Science Fiction for entertainment, but sometimes I'll tackle a political or technical book that interests me. I have eclectic taste in movies, but tend to like things that make me think. Mysteries, like Memento, and the weird and off the wall things, like The Lost Room, are good examples. We tend to watch things at home on NetFlix rather than in theaters because it's cheaper and more comfortable. I am a spice addict! The hotter the food the better, but if it's got flavor too then that's even better. Mexican, Indian, and Thai are all good. Oh, and we both cook, too.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Oi, seriously, a list? I guess I'm supposed to say, sex, drugs and rock'n'roll or some such. When it comes down to it the only thing none of us can really do without is each other.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My lovely wife, stories I'm working on, or the current challenges at work.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually at home relaxing in the hot-tub or watching TV cuddling, but out with friends is more fun.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a little bit kinky in the bedroom — I guess most people are — but it's not in a scary way. If you want to know more, just ask.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You know how in the store, when you get to the head of the cashier line and you say hi to the clerk, one of two things happens. Either the lady or gent just grunts and won't make eye contact. Or, they look surprised like This guys is actually talking to me! Then they smile and you smile back and it's great to be alive and in the world with other humans. You should message me if you'd smile instead of grunt.
