My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a very empathetic and kind person. I value sound reasoning and kindness above all else, and it really irks me whenever I hear about injustice or suffering. I'm a great supporter of personal freedoms. If you aren't hurting me or anyone else in any way, I probably support what you're doing with your life.

I like reading, video games, tv, and manga (I'm comfortable admitting I'm a nerd). I'm taking a break from college, but hoping to return by next fall. Eventually I want to study software design or political science. I drive a 2000 Honda Civic. I'm quiet in big groups when I'm sober.

I'm a good mix between rationality and emotion. I love studying economics, politics, ethics, biology, and psychology.

I try to relate to everyone and see their points of view, but I prefer to hang out with people who share my world-view. Being socially liberal (in terms of political views) is more important to me than religion, but I can't stand people who try to force their religion on me.

I'm not a big fan of judgmental, rude, or cruel people. Being nice is one of the most important things I look for in friends and dates.

I like both dogs and cats in general, but I especially like German Shephards and Golden Retrievers. I'm actually allergic to animal dander, but my family owns a dog and several cats, so I deal with it.

I should warn that I sometimes use language that may seem offensive. It's not intentional. I don't hate anyone unless they're cruel to others, and I strongly believe in the inherent equality of all people.

If I love a girl she's my world. I can be extremely romantic and sensual if I'm with a girl I really like. You just have to be cool enough to see that side of me.

I like a lot of different kinds of girls. The main deal breakers for me are if you're anti-gay (my best friend is gay), if you're racist, if you're serious about religion, if you're against marijuana, or if you're a rude/judgmental/mean person. It helps if you like anime/manga and hate reality TV.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I live in my grandfather's house. He raised me since I was about 9, and now that he's getting too old to take care of himself I feel responsible for him, so I'm reluctant to move out. At the same time I've always dreamed of moving to Seattle or another place with beautiful scenery and liberal laws.

Right now I work at a Michael's Arts and Crafts but I'm looking into a position at Chase.

I'm currently taking a break from college in order to get my finances settled, but hope to attend Northern Illinois next fall.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing, video games, considering issues from multiple perspectives, listening, understanding broad concepts (particularly moral, philosophical, biological, and psychological concepts).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm pretty short. Like, shorter than most girls. But that's okay, because once you spend some time around me you'll realize how smart, fun, and sweet i am, and you'll be all over me ;D

Lately I've been reading more non-fiction. The Moral Landscape by Sam Harris, God Is Not Great by Christopher Hitchens, The Believing Brain by Michael Shermer, The Better Angels of Our Nature: Why Violence Has Declined by Steven Pinker, and now American Theocracy by Kevin Phillips. I would recommend any of those books to anyone who enjoys broadening their horizons.
I also enjoy fantasy novels. Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and Eragon are the big ones.

For TV, I like Supernatural, The Big Bang Theory, South Park, Archer, Ugly Americans, Futurama, Parks and Recreations, The Originals, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Bones, Fringe, The Vampire Diaries, Game of Thrones, True Blood, New Girl, Scrubs, New Girl, Sons of Anarchy, and That 70s Show.

My favorite movies are The Dark Knight, The Perks of Being A Wallflower, Let Me In, and Inception.

I LOVE Panic! At the Disco, Paramore, Bright Eyes, Tonight Alive, Brand New, The Killers, Silverstein, Eyes Set to Kill, and All Time Low.
I could probably live on nothing but pasta. Any kind.
