I like learning, talking, reading, listening, dancing - particularly lindy hop and blues right now, but also salsa and remedial tango.

I am a tree-hugging dirt worshipper. I am hilarious and absurd, I do not like to filter my language for it's statements/ideas or for its swear words and quantum insane ridiculosity.

Turn ons include - but are not limited to: humor, philanthropy, proper spelling and punctuation, intelligence, the ability to take a clue, kindness, creativity, certain awkwardness, social awareness, earth appreciation, patience and real, honest acceptance of others. Turn offs: materialism, stubborn closed-mindedness, sedentary lifestyles, playboys, delusions of grandeur, over-sensitivity to criticism or honest truths, callousness, static personalities. Oh, and taking it as a personal judgement against you if I just don't think we'll work. That is REALLY annoying.

I like words. I used to know more of them. Sometimes I make some up.

Riding it's dramatic roller coaster. :) That's right! Nobody's life is "drama free." If you don't want to be part of someone's emotional life, that's one thing, but a "romantic relationship" is the antithesis of a "drama-free" one. Cowboy up and admit what you (don't) want.

School and work until I don't have to do either of them anymore. (yays)

Learning how to travel with the minimum equipment and hangups.

Cooking, random rants, learning, mimicry, affection, proofreading, developing addictions to trivia and foreign cultures, spelling and alliteration, sarcasm, awkwardness, solitude, learning new languages, pressing buttons, following direction, driving cars and motorcycles, being just plain awesome.

When I think I'm being funny, I usually just end up turning people off after about 5 minutes. I never fully find out why.

I am "exotic." People either really like that or really don't. I like it.

I also look more ethnic in person than in photos.

I tell the truth all the time. Sometimes people mistake my rejections or natural, intermittent shyness for being coy. I don't do "coy." Why waste time?

My favorite things and the things I engage in most are generally in very different fields. I love all sorts of books, movies, music and food.

My long-standing bookish love affair is Terry Pratchett's entire body of work. I am working towards completion of several authors: Roald Dahl, Shakespeare, Neil Gaiman, Poe. Also Everworld. Best YA novels ever. Constantly changing first person narration, and how can you forget anything when it's always being resummarized for you? I have read "Of Love and Other Demons" in both languages, more to someday come.

My most recent theatre movie has been 9. It rocked my face off. I have several more releases I'd like to see, but prefer comedies and action flicks in a general sense. I adore many silver-screen era films (yes, I call that an era. What we have now is NOT a silver screen.) and Mel Brooks movies and Johnny Depp movies and Tim Burton movies, etc.

Right now, I listen to mostly vintage and vintage-styled jazz, blues and swing music because most of my socializing is with Nashville's Swing Dancers. I do really listen to all kinds of music except ghetto rap (I can't relate) and bluegrass/country (don't like all the twang). NEW MUSIC LOVE Bob Schneider (particularly "Changing Your Mind," "Tarantula," and "Love is Everywhere") and Griffin House (particularly Better than Love" and "Dance with Me").

Peruvian food is the best in the world. I am a fan of vegetables and fruits the variety of tasty things that can be done with them. I adore potato things and cheesy things and sweet wines and honey liquers.

Music, the internet, information, all senses, variety and all the types of relationships. This is all taking into consideration that my library is in good hands and the family piano is well taken care of wherever it is stored. :D

Dancing. The Interconnectedness of All Things. What - in the hell - is going on. Coffee. Business. Coffee business. Homework. How to not do homework and still get financial aid and a degree. Choo-choo Bear. Where I'm gonna be in the next 3 months.

Finding a recreational release for work and school stresses. My favorite so far, is Memphis. As long as it involves laughter, filterless speech and new something, I am DOWN! (Down is good now, right?)
