Ok, that sentence was all a bunch of hot air, except for the fact that OkCupid doesn't allow members to use a name that's already taken, so in that aspect it's totally true! I'm the girl that can never sit still, who always tries to make people laugh and goes with the flow. I'm very sarcastic, silly, and have no fear of embarrassing myself when it comes to having fun.

Right now I'm looking to meet great new people as friends. If that happens to develop into something more intimate along the way, great! If we have one of those awkward in-person meetings, at least we'll have fodder for our respective blogs (What? You don't write a blog?)

I'm living it. Or trying to, at least. That includes the standard eight hour day, five days a week at my job where I legally push drugs (no, that does not include marijuana). Besides that, I go out and try to discover new passions; right now I'm picking up ice skating and rediscovering photography. Yay!

remembering details (unless you count names, which for some reason tend to leave me as soon as I hear them). I'm also proficient at kicking ass (I trained in kung fu for a few years), running on an endless supply of internal energy, and making people laugh. Oh, and I'm super awesome at writing the way I talk, which is why this paragraph keeps getting longer because I'm writing the way I would be talking as if I were speaking in person. :)

is the way I walk. I always walk very purposefully, but it doesn't necessarily mean I always have something to get to. It's pretty handy for manouevering through crowds, though.

Books: Lolita, the Neverending Story, His Dark Materials Trilogy, Rainer Maria Rilke.

Movies: a lot, I'm a bit of a movie buff (IMDB is my go-to for trivia). The movie that always makes me feel a bit nostalgic is the Breakfast Club, but I enjoy anything from documentaries to action to fantasy (although I'm too much of a chicken to enjoy horror).

Food: anything and everything! I do enjoy Japanese and Italian food a lot. And cheese. Mmmm, cheese (camembert and piave mezzano are my go-tos).

Music: varies. I have a particular fondness for Queen and for Jason Mraz, and am loving the music by Adele right now. Otherwise, I like genres from Vanessa Mae to Lady Gaga.
